hello all

i finally made it through all the chopping/trimming/drying/curing of my Ice and it came out awesome! im very happy with the final product. after spending many, many hours trimming i decided it would be worth it to make some butter so i followed Vid's "Easy Ganja Butter" thread and made some last night.

I used 12 sticks of butter (3 lbs) and a little dash of veg oil..added water and brought to a low bubble. After i stuffed 2 stocking legs full of trimmings and popcorn nuggets that were very crystaly....before i threw them in i weighed em out to be about 9 ounces! im hoping for a very good batch of butter here with the ratio of 1 lb of butter to 3 ounces of trimmings/nugs. i did only stew my mix for 2 and a half hours but god damn was it dark! the smell was overtaking the whole house...i had to turn my carbon filter on. i will let you guys know how it comes out today i plan on making a batch of brownies

Wow - That sounds like some nice butter you made there! How much finished butter did you end up with after the weed soaked some up?

Sounds like your ratio will make for a powerful stone!

thanks guys.....made the brownies and some rice crispy treats yesterday with my butter. put a cup of butter in the brownies and WOW! those things kicked my ass all day i felt like i was on pain killers...awesome body high. def a strong batch of butter. i ended up with a lot of butter i would like to say i got at least 2 and a half to 3 lbs of the stuff. im going to freeze pound for later use but for now the rice crispy treats are the way to go...they were so damn tasty. i have to say i almost enjoy it more than toking....almost. ill be making some homemade mac and cheese also that should be awesome. ill let you guys know how it turns out

I dont wake n bake anymore. I wake...drink a cup of joe and toast a slice of bread. Butter stays in the fridge. By the time I finish my java and do my morning routine......

Niiiiiice! I love a good body stone! .. and 2 or 3lbs still left over? Damn dude... that is really sweet. I like making the THC capsules and popping those on camping trips. Makes for a good night sleep!

Enjoy your brownies bud.. that mac n cheese sounds slammin too!

i got some low grade weed that im using to make butter,, used an ounce of weed to 1 stick of butter,, will this be good enough? or do i need to make the butter with a greater quality pot? or more of it..?

yes im sure you can....there is just a lower % of THC in that bud.
