Got to thinking (dangerous, I know..LOL!), but this might work...maybe..
So, instead of taking all that trim and simmering it in the butter, why not just run the trim through the hash screens (silk screens) and then dump the resulting kief into some simmering butter?
Yes? No?
Might be an easy way to make fresh butter each time you bake...just keep a small jar of kief around, and add it to the butter as you need it.
