So tell me, Shaman. Do you think words and courts and the "legal way" will really work? You said your people were tired of broken treaties. Those broken treaties are the essence of words and courts. The only way to win is to fight for what you believe in. Check out history and see for yourself. From the Mesopotamians to the Romans to the United States, every nation, empire, or regime with this set of circumstances all tell the same story. Words and courts and the "legal way" are merely a way to keep your people distracted whilst you get the shaft. Those who do not know their history are forever doomed to repeat it.

That does not mean that I do not feel for your people. Quite the opposite. Native Americans (in ALL of North, Central, and South America) got the raw deal. They had no chance against the superior numbers and technology of the European settlers. They are the honored dead because they did not give up, they literally fought to the death to defend their families and their cultures.

Maybe it's time to consider more than words and courts.
