too much acid? im not sure, i tend to think jimi communicated alot more through the guitar than through his words... take his playing of the anthem (i think at woodstock?). i have never, ever ever felt such love and pride as during that. never. you can feel it. its magical. if i was president i'd ditch the original version for jimi's. if ever there was a guy who could communicate through a guitar string he was it. santana comes close. but not quite.

Awww Hendrix, I have to agree with you all, The way him and the guitar communicated, He really brought it to life, I too think his National Anthem at WOOD STOCK should be recognized even maybe in the white house, lol wouldn't that be something, When he played the Anthem It was a time of war and a time of peace and love. Hendrix played brilliently and put that song right in the middle of war and peace that day he played. Do you ever wonder what it would of been like if the young artist of years past had not lost their lives. Joplin, Jim Morrison and the rest, I even wonder what Lennon would be stirring up in his old age...

What does it mean to me. Well to me it means that you can overcome any thing with faith in god and faith in your self. With faith you can over come a mountain or any thing that may stand in your way.
