I see those pics of the mist over the river and it brings back fond memories. I was born in the mountains of VA.(the land once owned by one of our nations first hemp farmers) and when I die I've left explicit instructions to be creamated and spread my ashes over my field of dreams.

I could kick back on your porch for a few hours. what a comfy looking area. Is it screened in or is it a room? I live in the country too and my deck overlookin my outside grow, drinkin a cup of coffee on a nice summer morn, is my favorite place to toke.

Damn...that is sweet looking GG! I love the woods, and while we have 24 large (100' ?) cedar's on our place here it's still not enough.

If you sit in a forest for a while it is amazing what you can observe...not always big critters, but just nature's interaction with her children...bugs, chipmunks, birds...ya never get bored!

Wow Brothers and Sisters you guys have some amazing places... Be proud of what you have, as I am sure you are.. Here is my little area, yes I live in a subdivision and have neighbors to my left and right, but they are both very cool with what we do.. Have had beavers in the pond, lots of fish, deer, turkeys, cranes, black snakes, garter snakes, hog nose snakes, corn, king snakes, along with, coral and rattle snakes and a few cotton mouths, red tail hawks, doves, osprey, and many many other reptiles, birds and mammals and those friggen Canadian geese...that we cant shoot..LOL..

Peace,

Sock

Thanks! It looks like you have a cozy little place to hang too! I can just see ya out there in that big chair or the rocker with a spliff of something tasty!

Don't you have some barn/garage areas around your place too? Thought I remembered that from one of your other posts.. I like garage and outbuilding space... lots of stuff to store.

And thanks ISO! That one view from your deck with the mist is fantastic.. not to take from the others! Quite some view.. I think my work from home days would sky rocket from three to five in no time if i lived there. Must be great to be right on a big river too!

Default I truly am east of eden

These are the pic's I posted elsewhere and seemed to start this thread.
A BIG THANKS TO ISO!!!!
This lizard is SOBE he's usually a bright light green,he likes to hang out on this mirror we have by the front door. The tree frogs hang out behind the mirror during the daylight hours. And our little eco system wouldn't be complete without the spiders and snakes(the flowers attract bugs, the bugs attract spiders, frogs, and lizards;and the frogs attract the snakes.)
The other pic's are of the back porch looking onto the pond.(the land behind the pond is part mine and part DECLARED WETLANDS it will never be built on.)
