So I'm traveling to Boston today. Brought about an 1/8th on the plane taped inside my crotch. Legal in LA but not in Boston but I'm not too worried, just trying to be discreet. Get through no problems, no one cares.

Upon my arrival in Boston I went hunting for a small water pipe that I could use while I'm here. Walked about a half mile from my hotel and saw a store with a bunch of huge colorful hookahs in the window. Went inside but THERE WERE NO BONGS. I don't know what's up, must be a Boston law outlawing bongs? I ended up with some zig zags and a corncob pipe (it was either that or an old man pipe).

I'm not used to smoking joints, I smoked three times the amount I usually do out of a bong and it barely got me high.

Which led me to build the travel bong (of which I've done different variations over the years but this one seems to be the best design).

Parts:

1.5L water bottle or equivalent
Chinese Pen
Apple
Bubblicious Bubblegum

I had to do some cutting on the pen to get it to work. I found a swiss army bottle opener in the room that had a small saw on it. I was even able to make the downstem a diffuser!

I wont even go into my hotel room and it's non-smokeness and the lengths I have to go through to have it not smell in the room (it involves steam and wet rags).

It hits really well, I smoked the last 25% of the joint and it's much more effective!

whattt i though u where going to join the mile high club.....y didnt u? .... but good job gettin it over :P but sounds abit silly cause Boston could o rapped u at costoms :P

use a good old hose man......they in every1s backyards and most front yards :P....dw wen u become more experienced ull learn 2 make bongs out o ANYTHING :p

I didn't want to set off any alarms by smoking on the plane! I look like a stoner anyways so if anyone smelled it the whole plane would be pointing at me. Believe me, I was really high for the first hour of the flight!

I checked NORML and Boston is decriminalized so the worst that would happen is I get fined $100 and lose my weed.

So yeh, for those that just looked at the picture I didn't travel on the plane with this thing! It's a temporary disposable thing for while I'm in Boston.

i know what ya mean man.... i had dreads for like 2 years and now they gone :( but hey i feel like im almost invisiable

Maybe, but on the gate side of the airport you're on Federal turf afaik. Massachusetts PD, or Boston PD, might have nothing to do with it. But then maybe the TSA would just call the local PD to deal with it, so it would end up being the MASS fine? Regardless, you got balls, bit green balls ;)
