just to prove that i would. i found a suit, and i am going to setup lessons.
The Rigor Mortis in action flown by EGI Tony Gwinn.
When we designed the Rigor Mortis we kept our focus, besides safety, to one thing and one thing only: Performance. The Rigor Mortis is a suit designed to meet the needs of the performance-oriented flyer. Of course performance in the wingsuit context is addressed as max glide ratio and no other suit on the market today will make you glide further or faster than the Rigor Mortis. The suit was made for max belly flying. Of course you can flock with the Rigor Mortis but that is not what is the suit is designed for. You can drive a Lamborghini down the freeway at 50 mph but what would be the point? The same applies for the Rigor Mortis: If your goal is fun flying with friends (which in most cases includes “dirty flying”), then we would recommend the Flockus. If however you love to see how far and fast your body can take you, if your life depends on a good glide ratio on a BASE jump, if you just love to go up with your buddies and smoke them leaving them behind and below you then the Rigor Mortis is your suit.
The materials used for the construction of the Rigor Mortis are the same as the other EG Wingsuits (parapack lined with cotton or mesh) however the Rigor Mortis features differently shaped asymmetric ribs on all wings, different arm wings shape, a back spoiler to smooth-out the airflow over the rig (two sizes to chose from), large wing-tip grippers, and the deletion of back air intakes. The ribs of all the wings are fabricated from a state-of-the-art semi-rigid composite fabric that is made by 6 different laminates oriented vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. This fabric is not only virtually distortion-free, it is also extremely strong (~800 LBS/inch) and unlike Mylar it won’t crack with use. This translates into incredibly well formed wings that will retain their shapes even during the most radical maneuvers/loads.
The booties and the back of the legs are inflated independently to avoid the common flapping and wrinkles in these areas.
The Rigor Mortis comes with an optional PC BASE leg pouch and bridle shrivel flap at no additional cost.
RW style leg grippers can be ordered as an option.
