Rep Power: 30 | | Stinky Sock Stew
I made some Stoney Butter yesterday~ first time for me!
I was afraid it just might be the day one of my neighborly neighbors would drop in unexpectedly, so I put the 'giblets' in my crock pot, with water and butter, and carried it down to the basement to cook.
Even still, the house smelled kinda like stew made from dirty socks.
After about six hours, I strained it and squeezed it through a cloth. Naturally, I had to lick it off my fingers. What was left got rubbed into my hands, leaving them nice and soft and a little funny-smelling for the evening. When I finished getting the "sqeezin's" poured into something to chill, there was still some butter in the pan bottom. So I sopped it up with a piece of bread, warmed the bread a little, and enjoyed it as a snack. The bulk went into the fridge to chill, so I could scoop the butter off the top.
About two hours later, as I was watching tv, I realized what a nice, mellow, floaty feeling I had. I thought about having a bowl, and realized I didn't even really want one... a sure sign you're already 'there'.
Also, not only was my chronic shoulder pain lessened, but the range of motion was much improved!
I got enough butter to make a couple batches of cookies or so.
Woops, this turned into a long post. But I felt like sharing my first experience with this!

I was thinking chocolate chip, if I get them made before I use it up elsewhere. I decided I needed to have a couple pieces of toast this evening ;)

Jelly, try rubbing a bit on your shoulder. It will help with the pain. There are great topical uses for all sorts of tintures and salves. Helps arthritus and all sorts of skin problems. Healing hemp oil has even healed skin cancer. It is a wonder medicine.

i remember looking into cannabis as a medicine back in the late 80's/90's when i first started using the herb. i remember there was very little info, but one book i did find. after scouring library after library for info i came across the mention of our lovely cannabis sativa. aparently our ancestors used a poltice made from the roots and leaves to apply for different types of muscular and bone aches.
i can go find it again and be more specific about its application and manufacture. it was a very old medicine book. but i think i can still find it. ill go look for it and come back later. i havent been to the library in a while.
c you guys around. and stay out of trouble.. hehehehe
