Just wanted to share a bit of info I learned reading the Oregonian over my coffee this morning!!! Portland is soon to have it's second medical marijuana users cafe, in fact, it's supposed to be only the second IN THE NATION!! The "Cannabis Cafe" will be opening at 420pm on Fri. Nov. 13th, and the first "Smoke-Easy" as they are referred to in the article, "Highway 420" has been open since OCT. 1 2009. If anyone is interested, I'm sure you can find the article on the paper's website.

I'm very proud to be a resident of a city that is coming around to the truth about marijuana, and I see this as a great step forward.

thats awesome...but what exactly is a "smoke easy"?...is it like an actual weed cafe or is it just a dispensary you can smoke at? cause we have quite a few of those here in cali

by all accounts it seems that the "smoke-easy" as they called it in the newspaper, is a cafe/deli open only to medical marijuana card holders (patients,growers,caretakers) where you go and socialize with other medical card holders over a lunch and a bowl! :D sounds good to me!
