one last plug for "the botany of desire"

There have been a few posts about Michael Polan's book "The Botany of Desire"...you may know the central thesis by now...Plants use human desires to propogate themselves resulting in interesting and unexpected co-evolutionary events. Also one of the four plants investigated is MJ...but that being said I think you find the book especially the section about Jonny Appleseed incredibly thought provoking and entertaining. You will never look at your garden the same way again. I down loaded the audiobook on Itunes, and in a series of four long walks felt like I learned more about history, art, consciousness, and evolution then I have in a very long time...Also it seems to stimulate one's own creative thinking as I listened...Read or Listen and gain a whole new respect for growing plants of any kind.
