i dont know but good riddance i dont even follow politics but every time i hear that guy say something its just about the most uneducated, unintelligible, misinformed crap ive ever heard

Im sure he could fit in a few words of intelligible thought between snorting Oxycontin and eating Xanax to cope with the pain and suffering of being wrong about anything he has ever had an opinion about.


Id bet he fell back on the wagon and landed a hush hush stint back in rehab, i saw some recent footage of him on his show and he seemes to have some pink around the eyes and sweating more than usual. Thats what they tell you to look for initially when youre trying to determine if someone is using drugs or not.

Could you please stay out of the post if you don't know my answer please, this is not the political section for you to spew your agenda OK?

I also aided in attempting to answer your question by offering my observance, then my conclusion based upon my observance. (A pink eyed sweaty Rush being back on Pharmies leading to a quiet stint in Rehab) that would in turn lead to him being off the air as i doubt they would move his studio to a facility for recovering addicts.

I fail to see how i did not attempt to help you with an answer?

But i can see that being exposed to the truths and downfalls of someone that you may look up to for sound life advice every day can send someone on the defensive side of the fence.

If you don't follow politics then how can you be so judgmental of Rush and his views? Obviously you follow what Rush says since you can state such inflammatory remarks!

Just a friendly little reminder that things need to stay off of a personal level. Issues are fine, opinions as well, just nothing biting at another member. This is not an indictment of anyone thus far, I can just tell this is one of those touchy subjects. It has a potential to elevate. So if you feel you must post something, make sure it isn't personally attacking. We appreciate it over here. Limbaugh, however, as Obama, political celebs, and the like remain well within fair game.

Well, i did follow politics from an early age when i did a report in 2nd grade on the Judicial system and the different branches and offices. Since then, i had been interested and actually followed politics closely until about 4 years ago when i began to realize that if youre not directly involved with a branch of anything to do with the government or have a bunch of money or someones money to use, youre essentially wasting your time. So i focused my intellectual power elsewhere rather than just listen to a bunch of idiots argue over issues that mostly lead back to money and business.

However, in the past year i have started to listen in here and there to get a feel of what all sides of everywhere are saying about the state of the world and Rush (Someone who i would follow back in the day mostly for a laugh and mostly just to see how wrong he was on a daily basis) is someone i look into once in a while.....And now more than ever his views are Biased, Racist, and just honestly lacking in any real research or deep thought envolved.

It almost seems that he is just angry now a days, because he is realizing that everything he has spouted on about was incorrect or so far from anything that was the truth in the 90s' and less and less people are buying into anything he has to say.

This i understand and i have not said anything about anyone but Rush on this topic, nothing is personal but everything i have said can be proven on one level or another about Rush. He is a proven village idiot who unfortunatly is in a place where he can preach to the village idiots.

I too use to follow politics rather closely. Rush's point of view was in line with mine...for the most part. I never agree with one person totally. It is my responsibility to do my own due diligence...not only politics, but all things.

However recently, within the last year and a half, I do not follow politics closely either...for the same reasons as you state. Radio to me is entertainment. Either for music, news, talk, or sports.

I believe our political views are different but that is what being free is all about. We can agree to disagree agreeably.

I too appreciate the quick intervention, although as a responsible GP member I had no intentions on name calling or making any really inflammatory comments.

Neither I, as i literally started the Debate team in my middle school for my passion for argument. I just love to argue, but i know how to keep it casual and not personal except for the subject of the debate. And Rush is just one of those people who to me it doesnt make any sense that he is in any position of "power" (Power as in being broadcast to millions of potential listeners/viewers). Nothing he has ever said has really ever been proven in any statistical matter. And being a lover of Debate and Argument i have tried to Prove him correct several times over the years (Because any good debater needs to also take the stance of the opposition to further stabilize any points youre trying to make)....and have failed at every attempt.

But, nothing personal against anyone.........im just a debater. Some would say a Masdebater.

Marcoze - we will continue to disagree about Rush but that does not matter at all. I'm too busy to argue, I mean debate about it. You win! But I do know that he is on the air today!!!!
