Good to hear from you. I've been gone for a spell myself. I would rather see you live a long time so that you don't have to go through that agony. My sister died from sclorosis of the liver. She was 5'8" and a full 78 pounds when she died. She slowly starved to death (almost three years) because her liver could not make enzymes to break down her food. I couldn't imagine how bad that would be, to have your body slowly rotting away like that. I know it hurt like hell to see it happening to her. If need be, see if your doctor cannot help you out. If he refuses you REALLY need to find a new doctor!

Freddy my boy, you need to snap out of your cheap shit and quit using alcohol. Tapering off is not going to cut it. I've tried it. You WILL go back to using more and more, until you are right back where you were. There! Consider yourself slapped around.

It's good to have you back. Your wisdom and humor have been sorely missed. Sorry to hear about your fungus. I tried coir mixed with soil and all it did was raise hell with the pH. Cheap dirt mix for me from now on.

Congrats on your weight loss. I dropped about 15 pounds, since starting a new job in March. I'm down to 170. But, then, I'm 6'3".

Take care of yourself. Eat good food. Get some exercise (building a cabin qualifies). Smoke some weed (may not cure what you have, but can't hurt). DON'T PARTAKE OF LIBATIONS.

Thanks for all the replys folks! Got the blood work back, Low in B-12 as I suspected! Thats a sign of alcoholic neuropathology, So the booze has to go!
And it HAS, 5 days sober now, I am not saying I wont ever have a drink again but only special occasions. Deb is quitting too. so its really not to hard for us. We are always together so we just lean on each other. I have quit much harder substances than this before. The coke was pretty easy, the perc was ALOT harder! At least with this I dont have the cravings. The kegerator is going bye bye, Thank God the keg was MT!

Green, Yes sir my friend! I am 3 yrs post surgery now and even with all the beer I have drank I am still at 290-300. I am 6-4, it still sounds heavy but several doctors say I am good at that wieght. I feel better now than I have in the last 30 yrs! Except for the feet, but that only bothers me at night.

As the days grow shorter I am sure I will be poping in more often. Tomoorow we will be cleaning out the coco mix and washing roots and replanting with the silica rocks. We were really hoping to get away from washing stones but I guess not.

I gotta pay closer attention to my plants. its like raising kids! Turn your back one minute and they get in trouble!
