Hi guys and Gals! Been a while! I am still alive and Free!

Sorry I anint been around much.. I have been so damm busy I aint even had time to check my email!!!!!!!!

The good news is I am still free!

The Bad news is My girls got a bout of ROOT ROT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The other bad news is worse than THAT!!!!!!!!!

I Gotta quit DRINKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This really sucks!!!!!!!!!! My feet have been gettin worse, I thought, Well me and my doctors, For the past 5 Yrs, I had diabetic neuoaphty, Well as it turns out I have alcoholics Neropathy! I cant spell it but it means my feet hurt!!!! This really Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!
They say I am low in B 12. So the way I see it I take a B 12 pill and keep on drinkin! Am I wrong here? Are there any Doctors out there? I would rather listen to a stoner the the Doctor I Got!!!!!!

Any who, I am still here, Thats a good thing aint it????

Now to my ROOT ROT!!!!!!!!! I am so pissed off~!!!! I have lost 30 plant to this damm rot!!!!!! I should have been paying closer attention. If I can say anything bad about Grotronix its that you get so used to it alerting you to problems in your grow room, That you dont keep a close eye on you girls!!!
I recently switched to coco coir and when I mixed up the coco in the beginning I had no problems But somehow the first batch of coco I mixed up (been sittin around for 3 months now) Got a Fungus! Its now spread to 2 rooms of 48 plants each!!!!!!!!!!!! Even my Mother!!!!!! Thats what really pisses me off my Mother is like 4 Freakin years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, I am goin thru H202 like there is no tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!

So life sucks here!

The good news is my wife still loves me, as well as my dachshund's How bout the rest of you?

Actually, damn glad to have you back around again!

Your gal in flower has about another 15-20 days to go. I am harvesting these at 75-80 days in flower, and that seems about right.

Sorry about the rot...damn, that sucks. My rooms are running hot and humid, temps mid-80's and humidity around 60% right now, and it's supposed to be nearly 100 tomorrow

I'm saving ice tonight, and plant to set bucket of it in front of the fans and see if that can help. God, tomorrow is going to be a bitch.

I can relate to the Neuropathy. I got the diabetic kind...hurts like a sumbitch, don't it? Like someone shoved a hot knife into your foot between yer toes when you weren't looking?

Yep...sucks about as bad as this heat.

Fred, quit drinking. My uncle had a similiar condition. Diabetic as well. He did not stop. He developed holes in his feet, raw holes, that you could put 3 fingers into. That never healed. This went on for years and he never learned. They where considering cutting his feet off when he died of a pulmenarly embalisim from all the poison in his body and the sores that never healed. And it was a very painful death.

Quit drinking now sweetie. We love you and you are a valuable person, to all of us, and to Deb. And you have been warned sweetie. Not everyone will take the advise and go on to die a very painful death. You can stop this now.

We love you Fred, take care of yourself. PLEASE!

Hi Fred, sorry to hear that you facing such serious health problems - an uncle of mine had also diabetes caused by alcohol addiction. He lost his feet as he couldn't quit and if they haven't tried to use maggots to dry his wounds his legs would have rooted aways just like his feet - so if develop weeping wounds that can not be treated with antibiotics ask them to get maggots to clean out the wounds. It is an age old method, somehow it had it only systematic use during WW I by the US military but there very successful - guess it took the same way as the medical use of cannabis once pharmaceutical, petrochemical "solutions" been invented and patented... well what ever, it might sound repealing at first but the method has proved itself - so if things get worse keep this one in mind...


And the mold - well an organic material (coco fibers) kept constantly moist (or the roots would dry out) over a longer period of time in the environment of fertilizer solution and pockets of stalled air - or why i'm disturbed by the use of Coco fibers. Not that rockwool cubes couldn't grow at some point mold as well, but usually they won't mold till algae hasn't fully covered the outer surface of the cube as mold needs some organic surface layer to grow, if it is now fat, skin particles, wood, cellulose, starch, or a living organism as a plant, bug or human. And Coco fibers are full of cellulose as this is the polymer they made - build starch which is again a short sugar polymer... the moldy loft of breed in your kitchen... that is what bothered me on the use of Coco fibers as grow medium

LOL Iso!

I run my girls up to 90 at times. You do all you can do but sometimes it just aint enough. Like your humidy problem 60 is a bit high but its not as bad as it could be. Just keep an eye out on the plants.

Jan, I am REALLY REALLY cutting back. I was drinking 3-4 full cases a week now down to 2 nights a week.

We are weening off both me and Deb.

I hear ya Green! I think I am gonna get rid of the coco and go back to silica rocks. I cant live with this crap!

As to my feet, I was diabetic for 3 yrs but I always kept it under control. I say WAS diabetic, I am NOT diabetic now, They say you cant cure diabetes well I am here to tell you you can!!!! I weighed 425 lbs before I had a Gastric bypass. I dropped down to 280 6 months after surgery, My diabetis went away, High Blood Pressure gone!

Sweetheart, I do here you. My uncle had late onset diabetis, and it appeared in his late 50's. He was 6 ft and wieghed less than you. You are in your 40's now. And still the high side of wieght, unless you are 6ft 8. I just care Fred, and am so tired of hearing sad stories that could of been prevented if people had taken care of things. My cousin is now dieing of prostate cancer. If he had been screened this could of been prevented. He didn't know and they didn't tell him about prostate screening. You know of the problems you are having. If you deal with it now, Fred, you will save yourself a lot of pain. And Deb. and your kids. I am glad to here you are cutting back. I understand it is hard. My man is a recovering alcoholic. He has stopped drinking for over 4 yrs now and still he is has had a heart attack. I love ya Fred.

Fred, of course, we always miss you, your an intergral part of GP.
So far as the drinking Jangel paints an ugly picture, until I read her post I'd say double up on the vitamins, but now...damn!
