Rep Power: 2340 | | Exercizing your Right
Whats poppin people, yesterday i was coming home from class with my wife and son on the highway when i looked over and saw a full size van that had been converted to a lift van. I thought "Nice van" as it was clean, and i noticed Texas plates which struck my curiosity as i passed. (As i live in PA).
So we are passing this van and as i am looking over, i see a woman in an electric wheelchair backed up to the front of the van (The front passenger seat had been removed i guess) with the window down obviously smoking a joint.
This got me thinking about how people do or dont exercise their right as a human and smoke in public. I know people who dont ever smoke outside, i know people who smoke only outside, and i know some idiots that just dont think before they do anything lol. But this is more for people who use Medically.
I dont have any diagnosis, or any doctor reccomendation for anything (Due to the fact ive had no insurance for many years, and when i was a kid the docs told me all my physical problems were due to the fact i was fat) But i have ultra chronic gastro intestinal distress all day every day of my life (Wont get into details), and my body physically feels like its about 2 seconds from falling apart at all times. And im also young in comparison to most people so these are things that i shouldnt have to deal with.
So, sorry for rambling........however, my point is i carry some green on me at all times. I cant not have it, i will throw up, i will be doubled over in pain, its not a good situation. I also will light up just about anywhere, there is basically no wait period i know that if i dont take a toke or 2 every hour (Maybe 2 stretching it but then it gets sketchy) i will be sick. So for me, i am very open with what i do (Not stupid, i have about 11 years of smoking chronic under me so i know where is safe basically)
I am just wondering what you do, are you somewhat paranoid? Is it because you have kids? Think you have something to "Lose" if you get caught?

I'm legal in my state (Washington). But, it's not legal to grow or consume cannabis in the public eye.
I don't violate that law - too much.

Yeah the police can still arrest you for public intoxication. like a DUI or whatnot.
Most state areas you can not have an open container (liquor) so the same rules applies when publicly smoking weed... Most states
In my opinion children of early age should not see people smoking weed all over the place... just like they should not see people drinking all day long...
thats just my opinion... and who cares about that.. lol

more like common courtesy then really a law issue... know what I mean?

It usually depends on where I'm at, sometimes I even smoke at work. I won't smoke in a vehicle though, because the smell lingers for awhile, and if you get pulled over and a cop smells it he can search you and your ride. I've been pulled over while smoking before and managed to have it go unnoticed by the cop only through a miracle from God. Needless to say I don't tempt fate anymore.

I hear that...
I was trying to say that a group of 6 to 9 year old kids walking down the street should not see people smoking or drinking alchohol at such a young impressionable age... just my opinion...
So that's why I think it should be that common sense to not smoke in front of the Girl Scout cookie table.. LMAO...
Just is my opinion... and like I always say... who cares about my opinion anyways.. ;) Quote:

more like common courtesy then really a law issue... know what I mean? | I can respect that and I agree we have all done it...I'll still spark one on a hiking trail if no one is around...But just the other day I was driving down the freeway looked to my left and there was some dude streering with his knee and hitting a bowl...IMO thats just asking for trouble and gives LEO what they need to give our community a black eye...but to each is own.
I personally enjoy my smoke from a nice bong full of ice...so in that case there aint no place like home=)

Just is my opinion... and like I always say... who cares about my opinion anyways.. ;) | I Halfway agree, i think children shouldn't see people smoking a cancerous plant that kills millions of people.
But a harmless plant with no real adverse health effects, hell thats like drinking some green tea and getting a buzz.

yep guys agree with you all.. lol
Also the main idea is by being a bit more, how can I say, responsible about how we smoke our meds... well, it also helps the cause for its legal issues and trying to have the right to grow a plant.. lol
We don't look like a bunch of burnouts who don't care about anything but getting high... know what I mean? Its normal that a lot of people who smoke weed are friendly.. of course... but also at same time the people against marijuana also try to associate this with drunken stupors or heroin addicts...
