On May 4, at about 9:30 p.m., DPS Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Bureau Officers inspected a truck with Mexican plates. The inspection was on Mariposa Road one mile north of the Mariposa Port of Entry. Officers discovered the license plate was fictitious and the driver was unable to produce a log book.
The vehicle was originally loaded in Mexico, although the driver indicated he was taking a load of produce into Mexico.
A search revealed bundles of marijuana hidden with a bell peppers. The marijuana weghed 5,027 pounds. The driver, 34, is a Mexican national from Sonora, Mexico. Were these "bundles" complete plants, do you think?
I've read that the DEA files charges based on the total weight, not just the weight of smokable product...
Shame.

Shame. | Here in uk I got 7 years jail for 1500 kilo hash funny thing was It was some hash I had sold in holland a year before still had my prints on the wraps,take note,because it was going to the uk was enough to convict. Bad laws
