This doesn't make sense..

alright now, so for the second time in 6 months, I've been caught with weed by the cops. The first was because I looked like I was burglarizing my friend's apartment, when he was simply inside asleep. Even though I was searched, and my pot was found, the cop let me off on the condition I didn't drive and stayed in my friend's place to "consume my poison".. He even gave me my pot and 20$ colored glass jar back.

Now for the second time, it was me, and 3 friends. We were on the way to birthday party and were going to stop on the way for some shwag, well it was a setup. as soon as we got there 2 cruisers pulled up and made us immediately exit the car. These cops found the SAME colored jar, with about a quarter of bud inside. Somehow they missed a fully loaded bowl sitting in the middle of the floor, but found the jar under the seat. After a half hour of badgering us they told us to go pour out the pot in the mud, kept my jar. Afterward he told us to go, and didn't hand me or the driver back our Licenses.

It doesnt make sense though.. it was for sure a setup. the idiot who set me up tried to brag about how he got off of his conviction scott free the next day.. but the cops still let us go, but kept my license? am I in for another setup soon?

I have never heard of the cops keeping someones license before. I would call a lawyer and ask. Sometimes the first consult is free. Check the yellow pages for one that offers a free first time consultation.

it could just be the karmic universe saying be more discreat when it come to where when and with who you use....or it could be a set up....cops will monitor a person for a year or more and not make a bust if they are waiting for a bigger bust...and it wouldn't be the first time if a "friend" said they could turn in a major grower with a "marijuana factory" to get off on their own charges

man you got to be more careful...not paranoid...careful....don't self-destruct....I think alot of pot smoker/growers subconsciously do because they are so deeply pissed at the insanity of the MJ laws

of course I don't really know you or your situation all that well so I apologize if I am way off on this

but it case I not I just had to say be more careful brother

I wasn't paying much attention on who the deal was going on with, since I wasn't the one buying. I was waiting in the car with the other 2 while the one who wanted the bud left the car to meet someone. The dealer never showed up, instead there was a cop there. He walked back through where my friend had left and came up on all of us, but no one had started smoking yet.

hey bro,
shitty to hear you got some attention from the fuzz.
similar thing happened to a mate of mine, dogs took his licence and the started comming around to his place and driving by all the time.
From what happened to him, i would call a free solictor tell them the go, then write a letter to the police station master tell him whats happened.

I paid the 5$ and told them a cop took it, they said in a week they'd tell me if they found it, if not they'd make a new one.

Call the sharks and get them on there case.The only reason here they keep your licenses is DUI.Anything else they can't keep them.If they are revoked they can.Two times you been stoped,I would call the shark,even if he costs you it's better safe and on the streets than wish I called.
