Default Carl Olsen Files Petition With DEA

CHECK IT OUT!!! Carl Olsen (google Carl Olsen or Ethopian Zion Coptic Church) files a petition with the DEA. In Iowa marijuana is in both schedule 1 and 2. Now that marijuana has "Proven Medical Value" Carl has filed a petition with the DEA to change it to schedule 2 making it legal or forcing the DEA to admit to marijuana's accepted medical use by our nation's medical community. Carl has been fighting for years to get marijuana legalized for religious purposes since it is the main Sacrament of the Ethopian Zion Coptic Church of which he is a member. Getting blocked by the DEA he is now going this route to at least get marijuana legal for medical purposes in Iowa. Keep up the good work Carl , you are greatly appreciated!!! . Even though our state politicians are block headed and ignorant doesn't mean all Iowans are. LEGALIZE MARIJUANA NOW!!! Peace...

I just found out the DEA has accepted Rev Carl Olsen's petition to put marijuana in a schedule II catagory. Don't know when they will hear it but at least they will hear it. Rev Carl has a great chance of winning for the laws concerning marijuana are so mixed up in Iowa that it is in both schedule I and II at the same time. Main point being that is against the law to maintain cannabis in a schedule I catagory while also having it in a schedule II catagory which admits to the theraputic and medical value of Cannabis in the medical community and Surgeon General's office. Good old Jocelyn, I knew she was repressing something, way to come clean Madame Elders!!! Here's hoping and praying change will become of this. I, for one, do not know about anyone else but for me, "Give me Cannabis or give me death."--Patrick Lee 1776Don't forget this comment, " Marijuana in its natural form is one of the most theraputically active substances known. For the DEA to stand between those sufferer's and the substance would be arbitrary, unreasonable and capricious."--Francis L. Young, DEA Chief Administrative Law Judge 1988. Keep on Token

now that is a remarkable line from someone of that profession:
" Marijuana in its natural form is one of the most therapeutically active substances known. For the DEA to stand between those sufferer's and the substance would be arbitrary, unreasonable and capricious."--Francis L. Young, DEA Chief Administrative Law Judge 1988.

I guess by that line that he isn't anymore active within that outfit...

They buried his report and ordered Francis to do another report focusing ONLY on the negative aspects of marijuana and its use. He promptly resigned rather than create more propaganda, remember this was 1986, ten years before California legalized MMJ. Way to shove it up the man, Francis.
