|  bong experiments... i'm in the messing mood again, so lets get started: Anyone of you filled its bong with salt saturated water before?? that idea hit me after reading one more article how bad a hookah is for your lungs since that water in it won't filter the tar out but only cool the smoke and this then enables you to drag it deeper into your lungs harming em even more. well a bong isn't technically to much off a hookah so i'm thinkin about ways to bind more tar in the water - and that took me to salt. salt is used in chem. eng. for separating compounds that you normally not able to take apart by payable means. my tar test, a paper tissue - without salt water it looks after a single hit like you would have wiped your ass down with it - just nasty!!!  ....trying this...

| ...sh*t! it doesn't all too well. the tissue still gets brown from a ball... see yourself on that pic: the lower two are from hits without salt and the upper with salt ...but the is also a difference within the bong - there is now a really oily film on the water, can't recall that to have seen with my bong water before

| hey, did anyone read this stuff here besides iso and me? IF so, lets make a little experiment you will love to do (DEA leeches not incl.): Take your bong, i'm sure you will have one somewhere, load a bowl and get a piece of tissue and place it over the mouthpiece and smoke that bowl. make a pic of the tissue and post it here. thanks for the help

| The salt mixed with water becomes a solvent for the bong goo. It has been recomended to me to use salt and alcohol to clean bongs and bowls. Have you tried Vodka and Ice in the bong? You will have to work on the water and alcohol ratio. If you are not drinking or do not drink the smell from the vodka may make you gag while hitting the bong. To me it gives a really smooth hit that does not burn the lungs at all. | ||||||||

| be careful with hot water and glass. I have cracked an older bong I used to have. It was thick green and yellow. About a foot or a lil more tall. The glass looked like the old coca-cola bottle glass just a lil greener. A Anyway I went to clean it with hot water. It cracked. I could still use it but it eventually broke in two. I loved that bong. The glass was so thick it felt like you could play baseball with it. A bit of hot water and sccchhh crac..uhhh. I almost cried. | ||||||||
