Bong Blends

Anyone else ever blend more than one strain into a bong-load?

Most will find it odd, but my preference in herb preparation is first grinding (rough), then rolling nice healthy joints, and smoking those in the bong. For some reason it is not near as harsh on my lungs (I've been smoking cigs for 30 years) and you also get the added benefit of a much cooler smoke. (my lungs are healthy according to the X-ray I had this morning..doc says no problems at all, and they don't even look like smokers lungs!)

I've been rolling blended joints for a few weeks now, and liking it! For instance, I take a bud of Blueberry, then a bud of NFO and grind them separately...two strains with entirely different highs. One is pretty much all body, the other all head...the best of both worlds!

In general, the high is what I was shooting for. It is easy to control the blend, as well, but reducing how much of one strain vs. the other. I can relax, get the munchies, feel like playing with the cat, and then laugh my ass off at a good movie at the same time!

Never had the idea to blend my bowl mix with several different strains... probably because i'm a mostly a single strain grow and single malt drinker but it sounds tempting to me...

beside, a bong make smoking not cleaner - it only cools the smoke, even causing this way damage far deeper in the lung then just normal smoking. water is just a poor filter to reduce tar.

of COURSE! i love finding good combinations to make marijuana salad. some flavors really compliment eachother. or a real downer indica mixed with a nice clear sativa, makes for a all around good buzz. my favorite mix.... Ak47 with that musty taste with Purple Kush with the rich fruity taste. mmm mmmm mmmM!

PS i am a pathological liar, and have illusions of grandeur. I post pictures of pot plants i found on the internet and i have never nor will i ever consider the cultivation of marijuana, as it is illegal.

I've never mixed more than 2. Although my grows are small by some standards, in my last grow I started with 6 different strains and ended up with 5 of them (first one finishes flowering next Thurs, approx). I've mixed and matched them in assorted ways...blended flavors plus the blend of two varying highs.


I knew that part (about the bong not filtering), but the cooler smoke reduces the bronchial issues, and the joint/bong combo eases them even more. I have a great vaporizer (Vapir 5.0), and do use it on occassion but there is no flavor..and this BlackBerry has an awesome flavor to it, so to vape it is a sin...LOL!
