OK activists...the time is drawing near to begin our faithful
crusading down to Montgomery to propose our bill for medical marijuana
legalization in Alabama. Last year was exciting...however not long
enough to accomplish our goals.

This year...we need as many supporters as we can round up. Patients,
caregivers, doctors, or anyone who may be interested in medical
marijuana. We have some exciting stuff planned...and some pretty
important folks to back us up already. We will have a meeting schedule
planned soon. Hope everyone will plan to attend (and bring a friend

As many of you may know...we lost a patient and very good friend in
December. Michael Phillips passed away at the National Drug Policy
Alliance Conference in New Orleans. He died fighting what he believed
in...and the only medicine that was useful in treating the many
negative symptoms of his brain tumor. I now have a vengeance to get
this bill passed this year in his name.

If you of anyone you know has ever suffered from a terminal illness,
Glaucoma or type of chronic pain...and could have used medical
marijuana as a much safer an effective alternative than traditional
medicine...wouldn't you want it to be legally accessible?
