 Simon Cowell sneered at contestant number 432
I saw this on the news and now here is an article on this amazing story. Singer knocks 'em dead on 'Britain's Got Talent' Simon Cowell sneered and the huge audience at "Britain's Got Talent" made the sort of faces associated with a bad smell.  The object of their disaffection was contestant number 432, a plain, middle-aged woman from Scotland with bushy eyebrows, and a dress and hairstyle that might have been stylish when Dwight Eisenhower was president. The looks of disdain would shortly turn to tears of sheer elation "What's your name, darling?" Cowell said, his tone dripping with condescension. The woman, who seemed somewhat unnerved by the bright lights and the big crowd in the concert hall where the show was recorded, said she was Susan Boyle. She said she was 47 years old, unemployed, and lived alone with her cat, Pebbles. She had never gone on a date and had never been kissed, she added in a thick brogue. continued, ... I heard her voice! My word! the voice of an angel! Good for her to have the ovaries to do this. I am proud of this woman! Way ta go Susan! And I hope she wins and has a makeover and becomes the cougar of the year! So take that Simon!

I think they just found the anti-Hong. Wasn't that the guy's name? Joseph Hong or some such. The guy that was so bad he was awesome! |

She is very diverse. That sounded totally different in character than the first song I heard her sing. Very good. The voice of an angel! Good for her! More power to her! Thanks for posting that Richard. i really enjoyed it. Maybe she will bring back all those golden oldies. peace

Ms. Boyle's performance made me tear up. I wish her all the success she wants. Probably watched the video 20 times by now. Too good.
