if you end the day liking the same music in the same way as the start of the day - you haven't learned anything new about music

Agreed, there is a lot of great music in the world, and I like most all of it.

Open minds and music tastes are like food, IMO. My wife loves cooked (boiled) spinach...I've had it in both my younger and older years, but the stuff makes me wanna barf just smelling it, let alone eating it...she loves it and can't get enough. I tried it, didn't like it.

Spinach IS good food, but my taste leans more towards other veggies. Same scenario can go for music...some you can tolerate, some you just love and can't get enough of, and others you simply can't stand to listen to.

THAT difference is what we need to respect.

ISO, thanks for reminding me of some basic truths.

Hey guys, if you think about it this is not the most revolutionary times in music. Just remember they banned Elvis and would not show him beneath the waist on the Ed Sullivan show, as his dancing was considered lasivious and only to lead to sexual promisquity! AND the twist was just over the top! It too was banned by many parents and church dances as being too erotic.

So nothing is new. It is just different. PEACE OUT GUYS!!! IF ya don't like it don't go in the thread!!!!

Thank you ISO. Props to you. Wonderful outline and rules, which unfortunatly we have to have.

Now all of you, act like adults.

PEACE!

right, as in fashion, many of the "new" thing been around already for years and are just branded to be "new". and as jangle said, if you don't like the style you don't dress in it and be fine.

...and now back to the work
