Thanks for viewing my pictures. I went fishing today down on the river.
I took my camera and my fishin' buddy.
Here's a few choice shots in another slide-show. Gone Fishin'

Gr8t pictures Richard thanks for posting them. Your fishing buddy looks like a real pal. The sunset was very nice all your pics could be on the cover of any nature magazine by the way.
I didn't realize you were as far north as that. Beautiful state Michigan and the fishing is very nice I bet. Now the million dollar question did you catch anything?

It's not the best location for actual fishing but, it's a nice place to sit and play with my dog.
During the spring and fall there are great steel-head runs.
Right now, you need a boat, off-shore in Lake Huron in about 60 feet of water to catch both Steel-head and Salmon with a few Brown Trout thrown in.
The Bass and other pan fish are going strong in some of the other small lakes that abound.
I just don't like to venture too far from home when I'm alone.

Well, as I mentioned last night in the Poker Game, I planned on having my first backyard campfire of the season. I made this fire pit out of stones collected along the shore of Lake Huron. Most people in the area use those metal rings but, I'm a rustic kinda guy plus I'm cheap and couldn't see spending $50 on a steel ring.
How do you like my backyard campfire ?

This was the christening of my new backyard and, the fire pit will be used often.
Having moved up here in January, I'm excited for warm summer nights under the stars.
Who knows, I may be able to roast a nice size trout over that fire some day soon.
Maybe next week it will be raining or something on Wednesday night ;>}

Want to see something special ?
I went fishing this morning at my favorite spot.
I caught the Sunrise from the exact same bench where I took the previous Sunset photo's.
It quite rare that you can sit in the same location and capture both Sunrise and Sunset over the same lake. My new home town is very special in this way.
I hope you enjoy these photo's. By Dawn's early light

As for my shooting, I used a Polariod t1031 ;>}
I'm unable to swing a club because of my health although I did try a few putts.
I drove the cart, opened the beers and lit the joints like any self-respecting caddy would do ;>}
