| "We trained hard, but every time we formed up into teams, we were reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet every new situation by reorganization. And what a wounderful method it can be for creating an illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficency and demoralization." -Pertronius Arbiter 1st century A.D.Last edited by willtrib; 10-29-2007 at 08:42 PM. | ||||||||

| CORRECTION Above I attributed this quote to Pertronius Arbiter; Turns out he didn't say it. "We trained hard, but every time we formed up into teams, we were reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet every new situation by reorganization. And what a wounderful method it can be for creating an illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficency and demoralization." Some things he did say are; "Almost the whole world are players." [Lat., Quod fere totus mundus exerceat histrionem.] - this was written over the door of Shakespeare's theatre, The Globe, London, England. "All the world practices the art of acting." "We are not more than a bubble." [Lat., Nos non pluris sumus quam bullae.] | ||||||||
