there is another company without the - in the middle and i remember someone got jacked by them.

I placed an order with the above company as per the seedbank reviews (copied above) on 10/15 with a pre-paid CC but have not heard anything back from the company.

On their site, it says a confirmation email is sent and contains further instructions/details but as of today, I have not gotten anything in my box.

I emailed them last evening and am awaiting their response. Just wanted to ask if anyone else has bought from them and how long it took for you to get your confirmation email?

My order was a little over $100 and I'm wondering if I was just jacked, or if I just need to give them a few more days before I get some sort of a confirmation back?

I did make sure it was the correct web site WITH the "-" in the middle as mentioned.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I'm starting to wonder if I've been ripped off.

I'll keep everyone posted as to how long it takes them to get back to me, if at all, and cross my fingers.

Ive not ordered from them, however just to make sure about the email, if you have a spam filtering system, double-check that the notification email didnt get caught by the filter.

** Update **

I emailed them my confirmation number this morning and am happy to report I received an email within 30 minutes letting me know they have been shipped along with the additional instructions as stated on their site.

I'm pleased with their response time. Perhaps they do mailings once per week, or allow a few extra days to ensure payment is good.

In any case, I'll update this thread to keep everyone 'in the know' as far as turnaround time and quality of packaging etc. Since I am quite far from the UK where orders are mailed, they do allow 7-25 business days. Because of this, I may not update this thread for a couple weeks or so. As soon as I get it, I'll post a full review for everyone else, but I will say that their prompt reply definitely put me at ease.

I had been watching my spam folder very carefully to make sure I didn't miss it. However, their response/confirmation DID come to my spam folder this morning so you're right on target as far as being watchful of both the inbox and the spam box when corresponding with companies.

Once I provided them my Reference #, it was less than 30 minutes later that they responded.

I have a couple seedlings of northern lights #5 from highgrade-seeds. Im interested in watching how yours grow up in comparison.

Now that I think about it, how about showing some photos of how the company packages their products, once you get em obviously.

I use that bank for my seeds - I know they are a bit expensive but I am very happy with the DNA, packaging and service. Don't mean to indicate that other banks can't be as good or better...but if I am happy with a bussiness (like Hidhut) I just keep going back rather than trying alot of others

Do get data that is more reliable you would have to at the least
have Bay and Annon have seeds from each bank in their grow...this way we are seeing a difference (if there is any) between the banks seeds and not between Bay's and Annon's growing techniques

to make it even better
Ron and Bay would have to not know what seeds are which (they may uncounsciously favor one bank's seeds over the other) and the results (whatever you decide that may be yield, potency, taste etc) should also be measured or observed by someone that does not know what plants come from what bank.

and finnally you might want to work with a group of at least 30 plants

of course you won't do all this (will you?!) but it can be helpful for the membership to become familiar with what constitutes reliable evidence if we are going to advance our art/hobby

all to often flawed evidence is used to support assertions about banks, seeds, strains, and growing techniques.

ok my friend(fellow grower) the one who is giving me some seeds on the 1st. bought thier mix pack,top44,ssh,afgan/mazar(free) in two seperate orders about 2 weeks apart got his first order in 5 business days and his second in 6 days every seed in tact safe and so far only one seed out of 24 seeds didnt germ... so that the info i got on them....enjoy
