I just went into their site and registered
I went into the seed section(I would've gotten purple cindy) but when I was inquiring about payment I found out they only take cash.I have e-mailed them about my concerns and suggested they set up a PAYPAL account to help customers out of country(I helps us get that warm and fuzzy feeling about a international company)
It doesn't take much to set up a PAYPAL account & everones money is safe...

I'm sorry that you feel uncomfortable sending cash through the mail. I totally understand your feelings on the subject. Getting burnt will (should) teach anyone a lesson in caution. As for PayPal, I believe they used to accept it as a form of payment, until this happened: http://www.highgrade-seeds.com/cgi-b...28;start=12#12

I'd be wary of sending cash, I'd be even more wary of using trackable forms of payment, including PayPal.

EDIT: I forgot the most important point of that thread. Even though the guy's paypal account got frozen, and paypal wouldn't send the money to HGS, HGS still sent the guy his seeds (and freebies!) saying they would work out the payment options later, after paypal refunded the customer his money for the blocked transaction. Customer-freakin'-service.

Digital, I'm really sorry I missed dealing with HGS after reading the thread in your link. From the way the owner worked out that issue, I would have been more than happy to do business with them. I suppose I've been lucky, but I've not had any problems obtaining mail order seeds.

Is that forum still active? I guess not, with so many from hgs joining here...B

The HGS forums crashed early last week, which is why so many refugees came here.

The site is now completely back up, and the forums are now working (although from a slightly older backup), which is why I now have links at the HGS forums to share with you.

If you're still interested in HGS, I would suggest checking out the forums and the grow logs for many happy customers. That is what made me decide to deal with them, after seeing so many awesome grows posted on the forums. Alot of the pics were lost in the crash, but the community is still there.

I know how you feel, but I have ordered from HGS with cash 3 times without any problems. One of my strains would not germinate. HGS replaced it with no argument. If your seeds don't arrive he will send more, no problem... Would any of those credit card & Pay Pal taking seed stores do that? I sincerely doubt it. HGS is a good place and very reliable. Besides, I don't know where you live, but do you really want a paper trail of your seed purchase? I live in a state (US) where propagation is a serious felony, any drug arrest allows the cops to totally get into your personal finances and transactions and confiscate everything they can. All I need is to give them more ammunition... NOOOO!!!
