i hope all is well with highgrade he was a good dude
anyway i guess ill hang here for awhile.
if i had mail(at the site) i was saving sould i be worried?

Well hey! I doubt you should worry about messages too much although I was always careful to delete mine, especially if the contained an address or something of the like. (Even so, a skilled tech can retrieve tons of deleted stuff.)

HGS lived up to his guarantees. I had a batch of seeds that would not germ and he sent me a new batch, w/ the freebies again, that was good - no problem. How many other guys would do that only asking "where should I send them?"

good for ya bro..
but as someone in one of those other states
a guy like hgs was a gift.
always came through.even when seeds were confiscated
oh and "his" strains are great.
i'm sure ill find another place to order but
ill bet dimes to dollars no one else guarantees,delivery
and in some cases germination..

Yeah, there will always be other places to go for seeds, but that's not the reason most HGSers are bummed, I think. It was the community. It was fairly small, supremely knowledgeable, and positive. As long as you didn't act like a complete idiot, most people were willing to help out with any and all knowledge.

And the canna-porn. The grow logs there were awesome. Not like so many of the "Hey guys check out my 8" lowryders I put in my Rubbermaid box!" I see on so many other sites***. Seeing the results of what other people were doing with the HGS genetics definitely made me want to grow with HGS seeds.

I mean, I'm still going to finish my grow room and start growing the bomb-ass dank, but I just hope that I can do it with HGS genetics.


*** - I mean no offense by this. I realize that not everyone has the resources for a full blown grow-op.

LOTS of quality growers here with great journals. And many with quality genetics as well. All (well most) of my genetics are from Vancouver seed bank. Another fine Canadian seed bank. Yeah, of all the pot related forums I've been to, GP is the one I'd most likely call "home" if something ever did happen to HGS.

Speaking of which, I notice the home page is back up this morning. However the forums are still not up and running. I see this as a good sign.

My brother has been buying from HGS for years, he's not just some flyby night seed co. trying to make some quick cash and split, trust me. He told everyone the other day that the sight was going through some changes and that this problem was temporary. It's happened a thousand times in the past. You all are members of his forum you should be telling us this.
