Default Greenhouse seed company???

I've just ordered thru the attitude seed bank 20 feminized white widow, 20 feminized white rhino and 20 feminized great white shark all strains from greenhouse seed company. My question is has anyone grown there stuff and what are your thoughts? Thanks.

P.S. the gave me a bunch of free seeds: all "Dinafem" strains. Cali hash plant, moby dick, blue widow, power kush and roadrunner..

I was wondering the same thing. I was going to order the outdoor colored mix so i know what i'm growing. I've read good things. but I can't help you. but I look forward to answers. are you not going to clone any? thats alot of seeds. Dr. Chronic hoooked me up with 5 regular Blue Sat 2.2's and 3 Trouble Bubble (fem) from one order of LSD like $65. The doc. has free shipping to the states now and 10% off. you have to do a money order though. still fast shipping. I got mine in 9 days. I've been keeping up with them alot and do the prices always go up a few dollars every month or is it just the strains i want? either way send me some of that White Widow when its harvested.

I personally reccommend Greenhouse. The people are wonderful and not only is Arjan the nicest guy you'll meet he's my Hero when it comes to breeding fantastic Hazes and other Sativa strains. They also have a small Coffeeshop/store downstairs. Best Cappucino I think iv'e ever had.LOL
If you can ever get over there make dam sure ya stop in.
Peace,
Med

I like their strains very much. I have grown Cheese, K-Train, Big Bang, Trainwreck, GreatWhiteShark and White Rhino and all are top quality. All are exellent outdoor strains that yield huge. Indoors the yield is not near as good. Everyone loves The Cheese, K-Train and T-Wreck. My Faves are The Big Bang, GWS and WR. So Im stingy with those. I still have Lemon Skunk, Arjans Haze, Strawberry Haze and Himalayan Gold to try next. Im sure I will be pleased. I allways am with GH genetics!

Greenhouse has a great reputation for distribution...but breeding is another discussion. There is a lot of people who havent run into any problems, and I commend them for it..There are also those who have run into serious issues with quality, and hermaphroditism..heres a thread at the farm on GHS trainwreck Greenhouse Trainwreck And another.. trainwreck GHSC and heres one on problems with fems http://www.thcfarmer.com/forums/f10/...y-males-10594/

from all of the uncertainty I dont order, especially when it costs as much as it does...but dont let that keep you from ordering if your set on GHS! Its an individual judgement needed to be made...whether its by trial and success or error is up to you.

I have had 100% germ rates with GH fem seeds. I feel for those who have had problems but I have had none after growing out 6 strains. My only complaint would be low indoor yields for The Cheese and TrainWreck but outdoors how can you complain about 2-3 P's per plant?

Seeds comin into the States must be bought up by another seedbank or somethin because I was just in the Dam last Nov and Arjan personaly told me they do not ship to the States????????????????????????????? If they are coming from another seedbank I would have to question their authenticity. Heck maybe another seedbank is contracted out to sell them now i dunno but I can find out with a phone call so I will let ya know. Pricey beans true but very worth it in my opinion. I had NEVER heard a bad word about them till now. Just goes to show noones perfect.
Peace,
Med

Try the Arjans Haze Outside and you will be blown away. Gorgeous huge yielder. Some very spacey herb there my friend. Yummy!

GHS creates little ...

3 / 4 of Genetic not create by themselves.
GHS often simply take 2 Genetic already exists, the cross and give a nice name ... Ileso right ! The difference between Mr Nice Black Widow and White Widow GHS is like comparing an Austin Mini with a Mercedez ...
This is equal in many sectors ...
Alaskan Ice is a sub-Nebula ... ECT ... ECT ...
I always critical GHS (Sorry HAS ALL ! ) but I have a good reason !
And for good info ... This is an eternity that I was DAM' !!!!
GHS also won a Cup with the genetics of other a breeder !
ECT ... ECT ...
While many people love GHS = this is COOL !
But I never give 1$ to GHS for its genetic..........
This is MY PERSONAL DECISION, my vision of things to GHS !
And about my urges as me!
My criticism of the person but never with GHS that is very different !
there are real breeders ! Enthusiasts ! Experienced ! and there are Commercial of Seeds ...
GHS has a lot of dollars and made the rain and weather in Holland ...
this not mean that GHS possesses an experience ... real ask a Shantibaba;)) or Tony (Sagarmatha) and several other breeders TRUE !

Many good breeders exist ... but shrewd breeders in Holland have long since decided that to win a CUP had to have a coffee shop !
And this little world plays them on the world market ...
They know very well how to run their business !
This is a hierarchical world ! As a large multi-national system !

I will not go into details but GHS is not worthy of great praise ... point !

sorry if my post offends people...
Not promised I'll post + on GHS

I think this is the only subject that irritates me on a forum !

1001 excuses has all !

i think they do have some cool genetics, alot of great genetics in fact, some others are just great marketing. Like any business they want you to buy their product.

i think as a seedbank they are very reputable as far as delivery of product etc. they recall unstable strains that should never have made it to the market... less reputable seed sellers wouldnt give a damn...

its just that arjan takes too much credit for others work etc... im not saying hes a bad bloke, just that hes a very successful business man not a breeder. its like the difference between the owner of a restraunt and the five star chef he employs in the kitchen. theres no comparison.

im not saying GHS is bad, just that if they were just slightly more honest about their strains and gave credit to the breeders of the strains it wouldnt be a bad thing

not create it, the strains of work are as ancient Shantibaba or marks or other breeders ... their chemdawg is a pale copy of the original ...
ditto for Kush ...
it paye the other genetic crosses and 2 of them together ! In the end it gives a nice name ! This is not the approach of a pro breeder. This is the approach of a seller pro using the work of others. It is well known in Holland ! Whether they are breeders pros or even Cervantes = Consome it not GHS. they know or find the real original ... lol !
As they say in France: it is "Foutage of mouth" !
Make fun of people's mouth !
ghs breaststroke many dollars and is important in this environment ...
all small breeders must lick the ass of the GHS for a right of entry into the microcosm of the Breeders. Show credentials. Adhere to such nonsense established by large companies.
Give Dollars a GHS ? Not even in dreams !
GHS book after so well, or if GHS is very nice = it is ...
This is also the smallest of things !!!
if I knew nothing of GHS = I would say that !
I am not critical for anything ...
there is real reason !
and many come from other breeders and pro talent. they are jealous of GHS ???
Not at all ... Just disgust.
Now my comments are valid for me. I want to disgust others or waste time writing about them ! But do a little reminder, this is not bad...
Especially when they happen to say that they are "the kings of cannabis" ! This is very funny for many people ... when the true incompetence is met with an egocentric inordinate = this is very funny not to say pathetic !

gone, I leave the post ...

Good continuation has ALL !!!

Respect has all !!!

hehehe,

well, yeh. hes a great marketer like i said.
as for DAz's english. its alot better than when he started! hehehe. the more he writes the more he improves though sometimes its necessary to understand a bit of french to understand the english.. hehehe.

I applaud the effort too. keep it up daz.

basically what he said is that Arjan is a friendly egocentric BS artist who lives off the skills of real breeders to whom he gives absolutely no credit. Hes also a great marketing engineer and publicity stunt artist who knows how to sell his wares but has no scruples when it comes to pedling them having been known to hype, bribe and buy his way to stardom and cannabis cup winnings.

he also said that more or less many dutch and more experienced growers steer away from many of his hyped up strains even though there are a number of first class winners amogst the lot because they have learnt to see through his hype and also because of the 'boy who cried wolf' syndrome. (take the time to investigate the number of unstable strains that have been recalled or even taken out of production due to shoddy work and bad genes, though i comment the practice of recalling bad products alot of growers get 'burnt' before it happens)

that said there are a number of strains i am curious to grow such as a few of the hazes and the himalayan gold. i would also one day like to grow out and compare his White series (WW, GWS, WR) with Shantibabas to truly decide for myself because acording to shantibaba and howard marks they took their mothers and fathers with them when they left GHS. they didnt take the name though because its registered to GHS.

anyway it all makes for a great venezuelan soapie.

and like daz also said alot of growers have learnt the value of sourcing the originals when it comes to buying strains. because there are alot of BS seed sellers that have no problems in labelling their seeds with the latest hyped up 'strain' names. this is something i always advise when people post questions about buying certain strains... like watches you can go to a an official rolex retailer or you can buy the same brand on khao san road in bangkok for a few bucks. if its the genetics you are after and not just the name there are no shortcuts... this is one of the reasons we created the evidence room project here at GP. real comparisson of genetics from different seedbanks/seedsellers beyong the hype and the porno descriptions...

but, if you are willing to look past the name most of the genetics on the market from any 'reputable' seedbank are top quality. and infact so is most of the bagseed you get off the street. alot of people dont see this though.

but like the saying says. the proof is in the pudding.
