Hi there anothertime I have some info for you. Check out subcool's threads 2 Decade History of Growing Indoors there are many other's in the sticky sections.
He has done some work with C99 and crosses with I think good success. I grew out his Jack The Ripper also in his book Dank there are a few strains listed with C99.
I had the chance to get a cutting from C99 but it was too much money for me to afford at the time so I never got it. Too bad really since I've had a taste of her in the JTR I am looking for the original again. Maybe one day.
Good luck. I hope whatever you cross her with it will shine.

Cinderella 99 is racy in the head, many great strains are crossed with Cinderella 99
An excellent cross would be something like Cinderella 99 x Apollo 11

I am just beginning a grow that includes 2 that are still just seedlings, as they were sprouted just a couple weeks ago. The are: Blue Mountain Jamaican x C99 X Chocolate Thai.
I've grown C99 and didn't care for it personally, but do know many that enjoy it. As for the BMJxC99xThai blend, I haven't a clue what it is going to smoke like. I've had the seeds for over 2 years, and they needed a chance to live..so I gave 'em one....
The pic was taken 5 days ago, and she's grown another set of leaves since. Not a real aggressive grower, so far, but looking healthy.

"Heady"? JTR just blasts off in your head for the first 30 minutes or so. Then it crashes heavy which I like. But I can understand heady as part of that equation. I don't know if I would like the str8t C99 if it is more heady then this. But sounds like it might be.

2 Blaze Reports of C99 Quote:
SMOKE REPORT:
I smoked a 1g joint after just a week of drying (cured buds are yet to be smoked). A very hard hitting stone, makes your body feel disconnected from you mind, and my body became feeling fuzzy, almost numb. Just two or three tokes is all it takes, a whole joint is just overkill. Smoke the whole thing and your guaranteed to pass out. A great nighttime bud, or for medical purposes. A 8/10 smoke rating
| Quote:
If I didn't know that this was C99 I might mistake it for your average ordinary dank. But just the look of the buds was pretty good. The aroma reminded me of a citus/rotten fruit. Interesting to say the least. So if you follow my blog you'll know I roll up a joint using Raw papers for each report so each method of delivery is consistent(and it's the first smoke of the day) and this time was no different. The flavor of C99 was similar to the smell without the rotting aspect of it. Sort of fruity pine. The taste was pretty consistent from beginning to end but only got mildly burny towards the end. But nice flavor all around.
I felt the head change about 3/4 through the joint and the high was turning out to be quite average, so I thought at first. About five minutes later I noticed what I thought was a massive drop in pressure in my eyes. That's what my stoned thinking was at the time and I thought that glaucoma sufferers might find some relief. I don't know if my optic fluid pressure actually dropped but I really felt an intense "high" feeling in my eyes. More noticeable than most varieties. A few minutes after that I was cleaning up and I found myself singing "Take The Money And Run" out loud only to stop myself and think "wow I was singing to myself and didn't even know it!" Needless to say this high quality of C99 is outstanding and I can vouch for it's trippy, cerebral and visual high. And to top it all off the high duration was pretty good too without a drastic burned out feeling when coming down.
So if you read my experience on Cinderella 99 I would have to give my Elite Spectrum seal of approval for C99. Potent, tasty, with great high duration and quality, Cinderella 99 is a true connousieur variety and I seriously would NOT recommend this for beginner smokers. Cinderella 99 is truly at the top with the heavyweights of the cannabis world and truly is a gem for all of us to behold.

That would be DNA Genetics - Chocolope (aka D-Line)
