Rep Power: 265 | | ATF X Purple Kush in my future?
Recently I had 2 Purple Kush plants go hermie on me, and oddly, while I did not get seeds from either of those plants, it appears that the a couple of the ATF buds that were next to it got tagged slightly with some of that Purple Kush "Love Dust"...
Here's 4 pics...you tell me if those are seed pods..cause to be honest I've never had even one seed in any of my plants before...crap...I'm a Virgin! LOL. They are fairly hard, no mush to 'em at all...but I didn't push it either so as not to damage them. ATF X Purp Kush 003.jpgATF X Purp Kush 004.jpgATF X Purp Kush 005.jpgATF X Purp Kush 006.jpg
Why am I not pissed, you ask? Well, I've carefully inspected the entire plant, and aside from one other site I can find no other seeds anywhere on her. My guess is there are a few I can't see, but still, if it doesn't ruin the entire harvest I just got me some ATF X Purple Kush F1's to work with, and if it flies as a strain it should be some kickin butt medicine!
The downside is that I can't start any new plants till I get that room emptied, and then a full-on to the max all out bleach scrub-down of every inch of surface in those rooms.
So, whattyathink...look like seeds to you?

Exactly what I needed to know! MUCHO thanks Ileso!
I had no idea how long it took to flower an ATF indoors, so these are going till the trichs tell me they are ready...and if it's 80 days of flower they need or 100, that's what they'll get..

usually what i do is polinate the lower branches.. etc etc.
when the rest of the plant is mature to harvest i harvest from those branches up... then she'll concentrate on the seeds... it usually takes up to 2 weeks extra.
if your not sure compare em to the pic i posted above
by the way.. whats ATF short for? looks like real filthy bud... ehehhe,
i just remembered something.. your using hermie polen... the is an elevated chance that the resulting offspring will also be hermie unless the polen bags are just a sign of stress from your female in which case youll very probably get all female seeds...
sorry.. im just thinking aloud

I'll just hold off on her as long as I can. Quote:

I believe there may be slight variations in the strains, but not much. Both are known to be very powerful highs, and the pride of the outdoor growing Alaskan breeders. A benefactor provided me 2 clones and I've worked from there. Seeds are scarce for true ATF, in fact I've never heard of any although there are said to be some available via the seedbanks, but from what I've read on other sites, folks that have grown them haven't found them to be equal to the original. I'm afraid it just went hermie, but won't know for sure till I grow out a few of these seeds and see what I get. Think aloud all you want!
