|  Yourweirdfriend's Trashcan Grow 13 days after breaking ground. I'm watering it every other day, and misting it and the soil with Shaklee Basic-H (diluted 4 drops to 14 oz) every morning. Its on a 18/6 lighting schedule under a 1275 lumen florescent. I know the light won't work for long, but once it starts getting bigger I'm planning on adding some CFLs. The inside of the 24-gallon trashcan is painted flat white for reflectivity. I'm using a 3" diameter intake pipe and a 1.5" diameter exhaust pipe, both curved to minimize unwanted light. This is my first indoor grow (my outdoor grow consisted of me planting some seeds in the woods by my house and letting nature take its course), so hopefully I do this correctly. God knows I've done my research...  --------------------------------- okay... I tried uploading pics, but it's not working right now. I'll try again later.

|   I'm not sure what strain it is since it came from a mystery seed, so once it gets bigger I want to try to identify it. at least figure out whether its indica or sativa or a blend.

| bad news guys... VERY bad news My apartment got broken into while I was at school today. They messed up my place pretty bad. A bunch of stuff was knocked over, and among other things, they stole my bong AND MY PLANT!! that little guy was doing GOOD too... Back to square one... One cool thing was that when the cops showed up, they saw bubblers and pipes and associated paraphernalia but couldn't do anything about it cause I'm a "cardholder" now! I even told them about the stolen bong and plant. They said they couldnt put the plant on the police report, but my "waterpipe" got put on there, so I should get money for a new one from Renters Insurance. Insurance coveringmy bong... thats pretty cool (yeah my stuff got stolen, but i have to look at the positives, right?)

| they took an ipod, my bass guitar amp... they slashed my bike tires, and knifed another guitar amp. we dont have any enemies around here, so it must be just some very angry thieves.  They also knocked over every lamp in the house, and knocked over my 4-foot bong (thankfully it didnt break!!)

| so its been a while now, i've had 2 sets of plants (2-3 plants each) grow until about 5 inches tall with nice leaves up top, then they wither and die. WTF!?! i don't know what's going on, but obviously i need to change something. I'm suspecting lighting. its on a 18/6 schedule and I have about 3000 lumens. how many do i need for a couple small plants in a trashcan?
