Little hempys are looking spotted and stressed. I keep telling them to hold on a couple more days...food is on its way.
I'm guessing this will probably hermie them.
And I'm thinking I should have used a more cylinder shaped container...the cups I am using are to tapered at the bottom...or I should have put the drain holes higher. Not enough fluid in the bottom to make them happy, I put water in the tray they are in, up past the drain holes and that seem to help. Now they are just hungry! I have some gallon jugs. I'm thinking of cutting the top off of gallon jugs and applying tape to the outside (to keep the light out).
Package suppose to arrive this week...but who knows, it being a Thanksgiving week here in the US.
The flowering girls look like they want more P. Leaf tip curling down. I top feed a tablespoon of guano...mixed in the soil a little, but next watering isn't until tomorrow. I'm thinking I'm going to use some MG Bloom Booster, 15-30-15, on this weekend's feed. That seems like alot of N though. Don't think I'd want to use to much...anyone got any ideas? I'm thinking, I've had this problem since I've started growing indoors, and that is what extends the flowering time and causes some stress for the plant.
Any input is welcome!
Peace.

I know WB456 uses the orchid food on his girls from MG I think and he swears by it, lovey. Do you have any bonemeal? If so you can also make a tea from it, through an airstone in with a handful of bonemeal and let is sit for a day or two, to frement I guess, then add to the plants. I know vid does this. Not sure where I read it though meigs. Even throughing in a handful of guano into water and bubbling it for a bit would make it more readily available to your babies. Thats all I can think of now, babes. Hope it helps.
Peace

Well, after carefull review of the electric bill and other reasons. I choose to abort the hempys. I feel I can do it though and may pick it back up in the spring... HempyAbort.jpg
I was able to grow them this far with just water...so with the right grow pot and food, I think I could have some success.
I need to put focus on the girls that are in flower...more on them later.
Peace.

Rep Power: 312 | | The forgotten male BB
Well, the male BB has been in isolation for about a week at 11/13 light cycle, under a one large warm CFL. He has gotten fairly developed. MaleBB.jpg
He had been in his soil, trimmed with just what you see left to grow and grew out of his space (over 2 feet tall with just leaves up top). So, I clipped him, put in a cup of perlite/water/superthrive, cut a hole in the center of a plastic plate and placed ontop of the cup, and then turned the timer to 10/14 light cycle. I imagine he will drop his load in the next week or so. Hopefully the girls will be developed enough to have some pollenation sites. If not I'll just store the pollen a week or so.
That is it for now!
Peace.

Yes...my last pollen adventure went south...I should have let it breath a little daily or so. I put it up in a Kitchen cab and forgot about it for a week or so. Didn't look to good when I open the container.

The girls are stretching away... 2wksflower.jpg
BB is on the right and WW on the left. That BB has
really shot up in the past day. I top feed a
tablespoon indonisian guano and Bone meal this week
before mid week watering (with half teaspoon molasses
included). I got a air stone and bubbled a gallon of
distilled water, 1.5 teaspoon molasses, half a
tablespoon indo gauno, and a quarter tablespoon bone
meal.Bubbled for about 12 hours. They seem to put a
inch of height last night. The next two waterings will probably just have a splash of molasses. I think I need to let all that digest.
SuperCropping happened a
week ago... 1wksSuCr.jpg
That site was done last Sunday...the top most part I
could fit my fingers in to twist and pinch. They have
grew 3 nodes since. All three required a good bit of
pressure...the BB squirted a little. That site in the
pic swelled the most and that is the smaller WW.
So, is it me or do these have very similiar traits
and small differences... 2wksFlDown.jpg
I bet you can pick out the BB but to me the
leaf/growth pattern is almost identical to the WW.
They are very smelly... going to be yummy none the
less!
Happy Growing!
Peace.

thats one of the things i keep telling everyone.. the current state of comercial seeds are inbreeds, cross breeds and whatever of the same genetics.. going round and round and coming back with different names.. they feed off the same gene pool.
almost everything has skunk is skunk or was skunk... hehehehe with a few variations, but thats about it... nothing wrong with this, but thats just the way it is.. unless you use stable original genes, like pure afghans, or pure santa marta gold or pure indian...
even then you pep it up with skunk#1 or skunk variety. even i do it, ive thought about this alot over the years... is this good or not? etc.. are we fragilizing the gene pool or not? anyway.. they should taste, smell and smoke slightly different from each other. cannabis 'strains' vary enough for a particular strain to smell and taste different from the next thank the gods
sorry for my ramblings

I would rather be marketed, by knowing its history/genotype, rather that what the breeder is calling it. I mean how may White Widows should there be? White Widow Seeds Not many of those look very similair to me, other than they are killer looking MJ buds.
Only found one that mentioned " Genotype: (Haze x Skunk x Northern Lights) "
Back where I grew up they would call my BlueBerry a "purple indica" and the White Widow a "white strain". General to say the least. I don't think most people even knew of seed banks back when I was growing up...not untill the internet. So we named it by general characteristics.
You said, "...is this good?", I think so...it looks to have been going on for decades and some good producing MJ plants have been created. But, what was, becomes something else, ultimatly I suppose.

EDIT: I found it! Baking Soda pH Up Up Up!
Well, I've been rather ill the past couple of days, and at the moment, and have been unable to get distilled water. So I've been bubbling a gallon of tap water since this morning and added 3/4 cup of peppermint tea to try and finish off the gnat larve, a little molasses...and the ph is 8. I have a little dyslexia so I can't remember what takes it down. And you type in "PH" in the search function...I get nothing. They are getting really dry, humidity has been running below 30%.
If someone could joggle my brain...please.
Peace.

actually what i meant by is this good was something along the lines of breeding ben johnson and einstein into everyones genepool jsut so that all our descendants run fast and be geniuses...
isnt it bad to limit the gene pool with successive inbreeding of the same genetic material over and over ...?
.. anyway something like that, i cant be sure..the keyboard is morfing on me...
some of the keys just moved i think
