Well, the wife always germinates the seeds, and I dare not interfere.
Her success rate is not in dispute. She is always 10 for 10.

Here is her method:

She use's a paper plate, a moist paper towel, laid on the plate, and folded half over the seeds, and she slides the whole thing into a zip lock baggie, than she blows into the baggie just before zipping it shut. This way as the moisture evaporates, it is re-distributed back over the paper towel.

I place the whole thing into a drawer, next to my stove, it's kept warm there. 48 hours later they are ready for planting.

Yes VM and Fred,I know all about being over ruled when the boss says BBgum BBgum it is.A few minute ago I was toking two up with the boss and her girl friend,when we got done toking I wasnt needed any more,so I'am in the computer room and they are in the living room watching football and playing cards.Go figure,I got smoke and a tellaphone and a tv in here so I'll be fine till the game is over.The boss say be quit you be quit.PEACE

right on video, she seals it in a bag eh? interesting ive never seen any one seal it off like that. i just soak em for 1 day, then put them in the medium before it cracks.

yes this way, as the water evaporates, it is redistributed onto the paper towel, like a terrarium.
in 48 hours, she has them all popped and about an inch long too.

nice, i just don't like the idea of suffocating them... but it obviously works, and works well.

Okay, quick update, so far, 9 out of 10 have popped. I sealed the baggie back up and am going to wait another day to see if the last straggler pops...or not.
