Are there any nutrients in the soil that you used? If not !! They might be hungry.
They sell timers almost anywhere, unless you are in the boonies. Ranging anywhere from $5.00 and up. Oh and have you checked the PH level of the water you are using? Hope this helps you out in some way.

Looking very good token. I wouldn't worry about those first leaves, they always die. Take them right off there as it is better for the plant to use the energy for new leaves rather than fix damaged ones. When those first water leaves, the round ones, dry up and fall off, that is when a seedling is ready to be fed. Looks really healthy and nice big leaves You are doing a great job!

Peace

one thing, token: I do not see much perlite in your soil. What is the mix and how big are those pots? Usuaully when transplanting you go to the next size up. Not up to a gallon size as the roots tend to get lost in there. And also you will have areas that will remain dry and some that are water logged due to no roots in them. The perlite also helps add air to the soil so your root system can breath properly. I am just concerned that your pot for your pot is too big! LOL! Also, your roots will work to fill that pot up before making new leaves.

BUT if your plant is growing and is not showing any bad symptoms, leave it for now, but be aware, and on the look out for the problems I mention. usually you pot up if there are roots coming out of the pots into the next sized pot.

Good luck !

Okay this is what you do: It works best if you have a pot the same size as the one the plant is in, just put it upside down over the plant, and tape it up, then slip the works into a green garbage bag and off you go.If it is cold where you live it will also keep it warmer too. Just looks like a house plant then, and everyone has them. Do a couple up just to look normal and then no one will notice.

Peace
