Talking take two

ok so with my lonesome girl in the flowering room, i figured id start something to go while im waiting for buds. since i have close to another month to go, i figure why not get the next set started. if my math works out i should be able to throw these babies in once she is done. i have 3 haze seedlings (2 of which have sprouted), and 2 more random bag seeds from a new batch of stuff i got recently (nothing yet).

this journal won't be updated as often as my first but i will keep everyone up to terms as to what is going on with them.

the haze seedlings are taking off faster than i would have imagined. 1 of the 2 bag seeds i had, sprouted and its looking good but not growing nearly as fast as the others. so far they are just under 1 6500k cfl as i dont want to fry em to death within the first week lol. other than that theres no real updates. i was thinking about taking a pic or 2 of the veg box they are in to show my supurbly lacking carpenter skills LOL.

Do you find the multiple strain grows more fun or more work Sentra? - just wondering because many new growers wonder if they should go with a mix of bag seed or get uniform quality on first few grows - you input is appreciated

personally they don't seem too much different so far as they only a few days old lol. but i can already see the water intake of the haze seeds are definitely more intense. other than that... still learning

that scraggly one in the haze pot is actually quite the trooper despite its awful looks lol. it was rooted through the paper towel during germination, and already had the seed popped off before i planted it. i didn't think it was going to make it because it was looking a bit brown from being in a strange environment but within an hour or two of potting it greened right up as if to show me wrong out of spite.

Cool haven't updated on these in a while

ok so its been about 2 weeks and these things are still looking really small. maybe even a bit grim. I've basically been giving all of my attention to my flowering beauty so these ones are telling me they are a little jealous.

the 2 taller ones are the haze seedlings. the small lookin one is some bag seed that doesn't seem to want to cooperate with me. i guess its the soil i used cause its that Feed for 9 months crap but i didnt have anything else. im going to re-pot them soon and hopefulyl that will fix em cause they are already well rooted in there current pots. (if not rootbound)

i know i should have separated the haze seedlings at least a week ago. but im short of pots and didn't really have the time to get more. another thing transplanting will help

Hey scott...I figured I could input as well seeing as I am growing the exact same haze crossbreed as sentra is and just began flowering it today. From what I saw the haze grew MUCH faster and healthier then my first random bag seeds did during veg. It also responded really well to topping which is strain specific for the most part I would think but it works well with this plant.

I think it's all in a matter of how much you take care of the plants.

Sentra, the bag seed one looks like it has that same deformity that one of my plants had if you remember..it turned out to be a good plant. As for the haze what exactly happened that caused the yellow and brown tips so early on??? That's odd...but easy to recover from so you shouldnt be worried

im not exactly sure. could be from a couple things. my main guess would be that the soil i put in has a nutrient value, and its too early to be feeding. but i had no other soil and don't remember having the same problem last time even though i used a different soil with a similar value. im hoping that once i transplant them into something bigger it will correct the problem as they must be stunted in these containters (the haze especially)

and 4 2 0 i stated previously, i know it wasn't a good idea to sow them both in one pot but i had no other pots and a bunch of germed seeds lol.
