Yeah VM, 2oz/plant (mol) sounds about right.

Hey Hobo, the Mother plant pictured below was grown with the T-5 fixture. While good looks doesn't mean good yield, good health is definitely benificial.

Bad news, folks. This grow has been postponed idefinitely due to an invasion of whiteflies. The clones look like over cooked spaghetti and are probably a total loss. One shake of the mother plant and it looked like London fog had rolled in around it. Source is an infested bag of soil. Now, if you folks will excuse me, I have a war to win!

Thanks, knottyd. I'll grab some today. The enemy is on the ropes with massive losses due to a fog of sevin dust. Fortunately they are only in the veg area, so dust floating in the air won't hurt anything. I am now in the process of pulling my flower area apart. The flowering girls are just going to have to wait in another room until the dust settles. Afterwards I will need to clean up the lights and put everything back together. The soil went outside to be soaked with h2o2 and dumped in the trash.

I will probably do from seed now, VM, as the mother was badly depleted, also. I do intend to show off the T-5s, you can bet on it! :+)

I have several of knottyd's sentries posted all about the house, and all access points have been mined w/sevin dust. The lights are cleaned up and tommorrow I clean the walls. Other than that the room will have a thin layer of dust all over so that no matter where they land they've had it! I must have swept up several thousand of the little sap sucker's corpses!

The clones were casualties as they not only looked like limp spaghetti, the leaves had withered to nothing. The mother and another plant that were vegging were injured, but they should recover with a week or two of TLC.

I've never had a contaminated bag of soil before, so imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and a swarm like brush fire smoke poured out at me! Usually I deal with whiteflies about once or twice a year. A slow build up that takes about a week to get serious, more than enough time to respond. These must have been eggs in the thousands that were just waiting in the bag for the soil to warm up so that they could hatch.

I learned a new thing: Store your soil well away from your babies until you are sure it is safe!

Unfortunately I lost both the mother and her bunkmate. I managed to get a couple clones from bunkmate, and if these seedlings do well for me bunkmate will be a dad.

This is the four I have germed. They are from a bagseed that gave me nice buds when I grew it last. They are 7 days or one week old (approx 5 days from seed crack) in these pics.

Now let's see if we can get lift off and get a grow going here!
