T-5 flouro grow in soil

Hey Folks! My first grow for GP. Since a curious bystander asked to see them in action I will use t-5 flouro fixtures. I have 2 fixtures, 4ft X 4 bulbs (4X4) and I will use one to veg and one to bloom. I sometimes use HIDs as intermittent side lights (1 hr on, 1 hr off, 1hr on, etc.) but I cannot run them constantly due to SERIUOS heat issues and venting is not an option. I am considering dumping the HIDs altogether and picking up a couple more 4X4s. If you want to see some of the advantages of t-5 units, go here:

I have some mutt bagseed clones that are 7 days in, and that is what I will grow. Soil is a 50/50 mix of peat and vermiculite (no time release nutes). Temp hangs around 70-85F and RH about 65-80%. I told you venting was not an option, so I do the best I can w/what I have.

Light will be 16/8 to veg and 9/15 to bloom. I've found plants are like humans, they tend to stay healthier and take more abuse if you give them a rest every day. The shorter light cycle will slow growth a bit, but in the end the healthier plant will produce nicely.

One note on venting: I have a central a/c which allows me to put freash air into the area. As for cooling it to 70-75F, the rest of the house would be 55F and I don't own Fort Knox to pay the power bill, not to mention the law would surely see THAT spike in the power use!!

1. Whats the lumens, as compared to say a 400 watt HPS, which is about 55k lumens I think, or there abouts.

2. How many watts is it?

3. I wanna know about the final yeild?

I am interested in seeing how it compares to a 400 hps in the final resluts.

1 4X4 fixture is 20k lumens @ 215w. Final yeild is approx. 56gr/sq. ft. (If my math is correct). Might be better w/better nutes, genetics, and environment. To be honest I never weighed anything so I'm just rough guesstimating. I guess I'll know for sure after this grow is harvested.
