Default from stupid to stealth, 4th grow

Hey everyone! I'm new around here and so far I love it here. This is my first post besides an intro so I decided I'd show you what I've got going. I'm a little late to be starting a journal from scratch but I've got plenty of PICTURES!!!

So it all started with moving to a new apartment. I had grown a few times before and had a nice little room set up in my old house. Nothing crazy, just one or two plants at a time. Then came the time to move. Only problem was, I was just going into flower with a HUGE plant.

After driving it to the new location, which is a busy area so I couldn't park in front, I had to walk down the street with some huge "thing" in black plastic bags. Thankfully nobody really seemed to pay any mind.

Once inside I didn't have a room or cab built so I had to throw together whatever I could. It ended up looking like this -

It stayed that way until it finished and the buds were dried. All I have to say is I live on the second floor and you could smell it as soon as you came in downstairs. Lucky me my landlord never comes over and my only neighbor is an old stoner/alcoholic.

After that, I broke it down and laid low for a couple months until I could come up with a plan. Then the construction began -

And some shots of the finished product -

2 Sour Diesel IBL, 2 Sadhu - Aren't they cute when they're little? -

Sittin pretty after transplant -

This damn cat will try every chance he gets to eat more leaves -

And I decided to throw these in for fun -

Now back to the grow, tried experimenting with some added CFL's to encourage side growth but I dunno how much it really did -

LST might just be my favorite technique -

Split room, now its time for some perpetual harvests -

Took some clones, germinated some seeds and put the grown-ups into flower -

Just yesterday I finally got some mylar. I was amazed at the amount of light that gets underneath the canopy now -

Clones and seedlings -

Also got myself a nice temp controller, speed controller, 4'' vortex and 4'' can filter -

And one final shot of everything -

I hope you all enjoy and I'll be back with updates as soon as I have them! Thanks for checking out my grow and good luck to everyone with their own!

nice setup diesel! but i would cut some holes in those cups for drainage. oh, and then put some tray under em

where did you placed the intake for all this - i see the carb and the inline fan, but where did you hide the intake?

thanks green!

the cups already have some holes, i did that first thing. im not worried about a tray cuz i dunno if theyre even gonna make it yet.

and as for intake, its in the front of the room next to the door, down low. the exhaust, up high in the back. cross ventilation. you just cant see the intake in the pic. thats only the flower room though. i still need to get some ventilation set up for the veg room. im currently building a DIY carbon scrubber for the veg.

That is a sweet looking growbox, Die. I am envious! Man, I wish I had the space to set something like that up but for now I'm confined to our walk-in closet.

Seems you have it well in hand. Keep close eye on the cat. I have a dog, that just loves to eat leaves. I have made the mistake of giving her some for treats. Now, I really have to watch her when she's in the grow area.

Diesel, nice setup you got yourself there, do be careful of the animals though, they can create havoc.
Peace

Awesome looking setup... I can't wait until I move into a house and have room for something like this... currently in an apt closet doesn't offer too much room...

thanks for the props on the setup guys! ive really come a LONG LONG way from what i started with. 2' x 3' x 4' with 3 cfl's for veg and flower. i was lucky to get an ounce then.

little by little i keep adding when i have money, im not rich by any means so its taking time. im still using only a 250 HPS not only because i cant afford a 400 but i couldnt pay the electricity on it!

eventually when i get a house id like to have a room with a couple 1000 watters setup.

keyunit - this is my first time using mylar. ive always had flat white paint. it worked fine but id recommend mylar if you can get it. some people claim its not that much better but i noticed a huge difference in light below the canopy and other places when used in small spaces at least. i think it reflects some 95% of the light, maybe more im not sure.

just built these yesterday, carbon filter on left, fan muffler on right. havent tried out the muffler yet, im really curious to see how well it works if at all.

i can post a tutorial if anyone wants to see how i made either of them.

and a little update - lost 2 clones today and the others are looking a little better than yesterday but not much.

Sour D and Sadhu clones in red cups, and some bagseed in the green. One of the bagseeds is lookin real funky though.

So im losing another clone . That means im down to 4 out of 12. For my first time cloning im happy with the 4 that look like theyll make it.

Bagseed at 2 weeks. 4/5 left, one just wasnt growing.

I guess something stunted this one real bad, it started growing and then stopped until the last day or so. This one is also 2 weeks.

and we finally got some decent looking buds going -

haven't those clones grown any root yet or do you got trouble with leaves rotting away on you? the last thing is cause by to much moister or leaves touching wet spots - come problem with clones, especially with pretty pure indica stains.

the leaves just keep shriveling away to nothing.

like i said this is my first time cloning. i tried rooting in rockwool and planting in soil but i think next time im gonna try that suspending in water method ive been seeing. looks like people are getting real good results with that.
