Those things you think are pistils are called stipules. They will grow on every single node...the preflowers will be behind these and the between the nodes. No, those are not pistils, they are on both male and female from the very beginning. Hehehe, i bet you thought you had a female already, probably got your heart pounding? Sorry i had to be the one to break the bad news, i just cant believe no one else told you yet... and those arent trichomes either. Those hair like things are called cystolith hairs. They are kinda like duck feathers for shedding water. Just remember, dont shoot the messenger

Oh, you might want to pick up Jorge Cervantes "Marijuana Horticulture: The Indoor/Outdoor Medical Growers Bible" or simply known as The Bible. This book is like 1500 pages of everything you could ever want to know. Dont let the size or content scare you away though, its organized very very good. If you want to know osmething about water or nutes open to that section, if you want to know something about lights or power go to that section.

Yeah no problem man. That book will tell you anything you could ever want to know. Hands on experience is the best way to learn anything, but next to that this book is the best. Thats why it is known as the growers bible. Jorge Cervantes is the man!!! Oh, and your plants look awesome!!

Verwegener you shoul make a photo journal for this grow. I would love to see a still frame (ie. stop motion) movie at the end of the grow.

... stop-motion..., hmm, just read about that and like the idea. I will need some additional equipment for that, so it will take some days and as I will germ some blackberry seeds next week..., maybe I will start with them.

Hey i read the thread again and one of the pics asked something about what those bubbles are and yes, those are trichs. My last post i thought you were talking about those hairlike things. Yes those bubbles are trichs. All strains have them from the very beginning, some just more pronounced than others. These pics are amazing, cant wait to see pics of the resin oozing buds!
