How do you do it?
Hey midgrade, you wont see the clarity on the little view finder for most cameras but you will see more detail once viewed on the computer. The screens aren't made to show that much detail. My camera has a macro function (not as good as martins) and I have to take pics then look at them on my computer to see what I can actually see. I also have a sony cybershot.

Martin,

Those pics are simply incredible! Ever consider doing some Cannabis Posters? Might make some awesome wall art for the distinguished collector!

I've got a camera set-up like yours on my "wish list"...:Embarrassment:

Looks to me like they are immature or partially formed trichomes. Just a guess.

higha!

did a lot of research on botany of cannabis, so far i didnīt find anything about the early forming of glandular trichomes, remember that plant ist just one week old.
tried to get as close as possible, looks much alike the trichomes i scoped on my last grow, but i think itīs just water.

Hey Verwegener,

Try brushing the leaf with the tip of your finger. If the pattern changes you have water. If not, I'd say that you have trichs.

As far as I know all parts of the cannabis plant have trichomes except the stems. Remember, they do protect from ultraviolet light, but since the leaf isn't as vital to the species as the seed pod, the leaf is less protected.

If you look closely the trichs seem to be grouped closer together in the newly forming leaves. I think this is because at this point they are still fairly weak at this point, but as the leaf grows the trichs are spaced further apart to allow more direct light.
