hey rolling stoned, i just came across this thread and see you are having a similar problem to what i was going through a week or 2 ago. i was looking for a bloom fert, but with the options around me (all bulk stores like lowes, no real garden store to speak of) i was kinda limited because i didnt want to order online. everyone was really helpful and gave me tons of ideas. sadly i wasnt able to find any of them in the stores. what i ended up going with was a Orchid Bloom Booster from "Better Gro" the NPK is 11-26-15 im using it at half strength now and my girl seems to love it so far. i also mixed in a table spoon of Grandma's molasses (3 bucks a bottle) it smells horrible but it seems to work good as well.

Default A Pictorial of the Soil,Soil Additives,Fertilizers and Vitamins that I use

I thought it best to list, show pics and disclose where I purchased my materials.
Everything I use I found at walmart(I know not all walmarts are created equal) but if you have a pic of what your looking for it's easier to find...
I get my soil from Lowes(they have the 32qt bag)but walmart does have a smaller bag available..

The Fertilizers/Additives/Vitamins are found in the LAWN/GARDEN section(Blood/Bone Meal,Granular Worm Casings,Perlite,Liquid Root Stimulator/Starter Fertilizer,Superthrive,Liquid All Purpose Plant Food,Granular/powdered Bloom Booster)

The Epson Salt might also be in the HEALTH & BEAUTY section(for soaking your feet)
HOPE THIS HELPS,
Peace

Thanks Jonny,

I'm running into the same problem sentravapor is describing. Not one of those products except the MG organic soil is at the Wall-mart here. I haven't checked the health and beauty section though. I found a hydroponics store listed in the phone book so I'll check there Tuesday.

Thanks for taking the time to show pics of all those. I've saved them to my journal file so I'll know what I'm looking for. If worse comes to worse, I'll try ordering some of this stuff online for my next grow.

RS

Do you mix it into 1 gallon jugs? Ex: three table spoons of molasses per gallon of water?

Thanx much,

RS

i take a 20oz water bottle and fill it about half to 3/4's of the way. then spoon in the molasses slowly and carefully as not to spill it all over and get that smell on everything lol. then i cap it and shake it up for about a minute or so, then i just pour it back into the gallon of water, add ferts and pH the water. also i usually mix this right before i water and never let it sit around for more than 2 days before i dumb it. over time the pH goes out of wack for any mix and considering you only use a tsp to a tbsp per gallon of most ferts and additives i dont mind tossing the left overs and starting fresh next time i water.

Vid is warning you that blood meal tends to release nutrients fast even though it is organic so be careful to go easy on it or you will get nute burn...maybe 1/4 strength of the recommended amount for your grow

I mix a rubbermaid tote full of soil and for flowering I add about 3 to 4 tablespoons only of blood meal. And that is for about 15 gal of soil, if not more. And mix it VERY well. Then I cover it all, and have it on hand for repotting. Do it dry. do not wet, as it will mold. Do not use for veg. Mix your main soil without the blood meal, then when you want to flower add some blood meal. It works for me.

Peace

If finally found a store with most of the stuff Jonny recommended. Due to financial constraints, I only picked up some MG Bloom Booster. Hopefully that (and the built in nutes in the MG soil) and the worm poo-spray will be enough to see me through flowering. I began 12/12 light last night.... Got my fingers crossed...

Here's some more pics (Yes all my plants are still small and this is the end of week five!)
