Rep Power: 76 | | Original Cheese Feminized
High all..
Here a couple pics, starting the GJ.
DrGreenthumb..Original Cheese Feminized...
I was skepticl of BBCheese before I grew it out 4 times.. It was very very good.. so I'm optimistic.
The sprout was very white (pic), compared to SS-AK47 which were gold.
One day under the t5 lights and it was green.. then I floundered for a week with hardwater micro and tap water.. bacv to RO and reg micro..
all are much happier.
So from my perspective she (its' supposed to be a girl!) a little small for 13 days but looks very healthy, the stem is hardening.
She was at 400ppm/5.8 and just went onto, 770ppm/5.7 in 6 gals of juice. 0-8-16 (with 'a touch' of grow).. 200w cfl..

I started 3, one you see above... Is it a girl.. way to early to see.
Of oterr two one wrapped its' tap root around the stalk of the sprout and cut its own head off.. not good but kind of good to see.. I must pay more attention when putting them in the rw cube.. the 3rd I fried.
I do expect this one to be a girl though..

well im now kinda interested in some cheese myself. especially after talking to ileso and doing a lil research myself finding out that it is actually a phenotype/strain the came from cuttings. this sounded pretty interesting to me and i wanna check out a clone strain now. i hear the theory is this "cheese" strain produces females. this really sparked my interest. plus the fact that its won at the cannabis cup along with the 5 star rating at my website. so now im hooked and wanna sample the cheese ha

High devon, I do not think it was DrGreenthumbs Original Cheese but BigBuddah Cheese that won it..
and 'that', I do not even want to get into..(maybe I missed DGT OCF winning)
I am interested because I did grow BBC and got very good results.. so I'm optimistic with the 'cheese' idea.. if it works, it works.. I do not think it will be poor.
If there were a way to get a UK Cheese cut I'd do it, can't get around the 'clones direct' idea.. if there were more positive feed back, I'd give it a go. it's only a couple hudred dollars.. I don't want to give away money but ... I deal with seed banks.. they work. I may still try..

Couple more pics.. OCF looking happy
Repotted into opaque cup, the previous, clear, one was having alge building up inside cup. Little AK47 is coming around, it went from 400ppms with 28 watts of light to 770>840ppm w 85w cfl.. A little stress but she'll be fine..

gotta go!.. later

wow! looking healthy and strong. im a lil afraid to do the hydro set up myself. not enough experience with hydro. i did check up on the herijuana tho. read a lot of good reviews too. ya i would be lucky to fit two of your healthy girls in my closet, so less branching is what i need. thx for the suggestions.

High DD..
I have the same position on soil.. I do not pay enough attention to details.. I tried mothers in soil.. they grew but drew little black flying bugs.. mothers died because I know nothing about ph in soil, not to mention flushing on a schedule.. I's not easy being me.
Hydro is easy but 'power' based... ya gotta have da juce! or they die.. rather quickly..on the other hand one can 'make changes', almost instantly, to nutrient strength and ph..
That box is 34X32X84(600w).. not that big..I just want a killer/producer to scrog 2 plants..I had it.. BBCheese... I was so high, I thought the clones could go for 2 weeks without attention.. wrong! It was one of my first goes and thought it was easy.. beginners luck..
One of these will do it I'm bettin..

High all.. it's been a while... the OCF is doing great.
Here is one picture.. I could have taken more but they would all look pretty much the same... as you can see she is stuck in the back corner, in a box with 3 AK47s (Serious) and 1 KOKush (Sannie) so she's a little crowded...
She's looking 'very' sativa' .. structure is 'rigid' stalk > is very woody feeling although it is still green.. she has taken every configuration of nutes I've tried to stabilize the AK, which has heat issues vs too high nutes... yes, the OCF takes regular trips to 80F .. no problem.
Again it looks and acts like sativa and I see it going 12 weeks, mybe more.
Right now it's under 400w HPS but I might move it to 600w box w co2 in a couple weeks.
PS: KOKush, a really good looking girl, handeled everyting better than the OCF did, but this is an OCF journal.
