Did you sterilize everything green? If this is dwc can't you use peroxideb to kill it?

no, it is still all soil as i planed to run the dwc unit with sexed clones - so still all soil here. and yes, i cleaned the entire thing before i put it away last year and again before starting it in Feb. and after i removed the WW males - so it should be pretty clean - and why isn't the BB effected? they just solder on and recover every hit this year. In comparison: the WW died within a week, the JH in a few days and in always this same pattern i don't get to stop.

well i have an idea what might cause it as i have a iron problem wit my tab water for several month now and it is on the raise too as the ppm is now from 300's to the 380 range now - so bad enough that i won't run the DWC unit with straight tab water probably.

thing is that this looks rather like a complex problem caused by several factors as i only monitor the pH ruffly, the iron problem with the water and probably something else i haven't noticed yet

at least there are no visible bugs in there

did i say no bugs - i got grasshoppers in my grow! WTF!!

last night found 4 2-3" long hoppers in my veg box, freaking huge beasts - but judging by their size they couldn't been there for too long or all my plants would have been gone by the time i caught these beasts.

this year can surely drive a grower nuts

hey, i made some progress in my flowering room today, frame for the door is in, new electric is in, everything on its own line now and with new breakers, pretty awesome

also replanted the remaining 2 BB and the 2 JH into the big container i usually only use in the yard, they hardly leave any space in my little grow

also got now like 30 clones in my veg box, it been a busy day

no really, after all that work last night i slept d**n well

but i'm not done yet either - still got to paint the walls, put up some more framing for the celling that is yet to come in, holding bracts for the new UFO ventilator and the carbon filter, some more wiring for the fan, fan control, cutting the exhaust hole a bit bigger and fixing a new screen for this on, build a light trap for the new door and that door... new sink and all plumbing... still plenty of work left for me to do

and i wanted to build me two new DWC buckets as the one i build earlier on, pic is here somewhere in this thread, leaks now somewhere - wanted to start it up last night with some jiffy clones, but before i could pH the water it was running out again.

going to build me two new DWC units in the next days from some Ikea boxes that look like black Rubbermaid ones, they had em for a few bucks on sale 2 or 3 month ago and i bought like 6 with lid, only have to cut me a few holes.
