If its just one or two little roots sticking out of the cube I would wait a little bit. I usually wait until the roots are exploding out of those cubes til I plant, look kinda like a fuzzy hand grenade. Not sure of the most accepted method but that's just me.

That sounds like its ok to plant for sure... just make sure you bury that peat plug in the soil otherwise the roots might heave it up a bit over time.

That would be fine... that stem that is buried will actually sprout roots after a while like a clone would so you'll be all good with that. good luck with the rest of your grow.

Hey, fellas, been enjoying this thread, thanks muchly. I just potted a skunk/haze seedling that had good root growth in its cube, but not fuzzy little hand grenades. I'll wait til the other three are, fer sure. Got em under 200 watt cfl, how about you two for early veg? Peace! Gv

Ps, I've heard about burying up to the round leaves but never practiced it.

Hey shane I can't wait to watch your grow. This is the first grow journal I'll be keeping up with since there is so much to keep up with on GP. I was wondering if you or anybody could tell me why the cheese is so popular or what the hype is all about? I don't know much about it but I know its all over the place lately with many different crosses.

Good Luck on your grow!! Keep up the good work!

for me cheese is amazing the smell i love for one and the high is amazing , once i have smoked cheese smoking anything else is pointless , not the same high not the same feeling , only thing i would probably smoke in its place , or comes close to cheese is the lemon strain , i love both tbh , you wont go far wrong with cheese or lemon , but im a fussy person , the cheese as to be nice dry and crumbley , but i prefer the lemon to be wet and dank .

Hi Shane can you get a fan in that area? Not directly on them but just so they dance a bit it will help strengthen them a bit. You can un dome them for short periods while letting them dance a bit.

I would recommend the fan also, just lightly blowing enough for them to move a bit. It makes the stem thicker. Also... when you transplant them try and keep the light as close as you can without burning them, that way they won't stretch too much... looks like they are gonna be leggy little buggers the way they are growing now. I usually have some true leaves by the time they are that tall.

Hey, cheese is a great smoke

No need for the dome any longer, without it you can lower the light a bit further down and that will reduce the stretching.
You won't need much fertilizer for the next 2-4 weeks if you plant em in potting soil, it holds enough nutrients to feed of them thru that period.
