Default Mystery seeds

In this grow I'm using some seeds that I found a few weeks ago. I don't know how old they are, or what strain they came from. I can only play Sherlock Holmes and try to deduce. There were only 8 seeds in a 3/4 oz food type container, so I'm sure they must have been from some high grade green street smoke. There were probly only the 8 in the whole bag, which was most likely an 1/8 oz. I put them in my buttercup germinator on Sat. I just use a coffee filter and some ph'ed water. On Tues. morning 5 of the 8 had opened (sorry no cam that day). 4 of the 5 had 5/8" long tails and the 5th was about 1/4". I put them in some rockwool and coverd them with my cloners dome. Today the 4 have sprouted, they are about 1" tall, # 5 is stalled. I moved them under the 250, cause the last seeds I sprouted, and left on the cloning table streached for the light, SO now they dont have to streach,. The temp on my veg side is in the mid 70's and easy to manage (the flower side has all the temp probs). I'll be misting and hand watering them for a week or so(2) ,untill there is room in the planter. I moved some clones in the planter yesterday so it might be 2 weeks before I can make room for the seeded sprouts. I hope whatever I saved, I'm sure it wont matter, when its up in smoke. Ought to be trying it out around Thanksgiving, maybe a little sooner. Ill keep you all informed. I got some pics ,but the battery on the cam is dead, so I'll post them later.

Default Week Two

Today starts the second week for my mistery seeds. Out of the 8 seeds 5 germinated. Only 4 of those sprouted, and one died. So here are the remaining 3. I know 1 is streaching a little, but I lowered my light, and I think that is under control. Sure wish I could remember where the seeds came from. Guess Ill know in about 9 or 10 weeks.

I know the feeling...

Don't ya just hate it when ya can't remember what they are.

I've got some that I can't remember if its a hashplant or a mango...

The truth will be told in the growing!

They look as if they are off to a good start at any rate, Fman. It'll be interesting to see what you might have there as time goes on...

Later,

The wide leaves make me think they are indica dominant. It will be interesting to find out if I am right. They look really good!

Peace.

Over the last week I've been really straining my brain trying to remember where I got those seeds. I might have an answer. I think a friend of mine gave them to me last year. Im going to give him a call and find out. Of course they probibly came out of some "budget bud" anyways. It really isnt all that important , unless they are some kind of KUSH. I just hope they are female. Im tired of growing rope. (MALES)
