It's really been a while, so I don't know if anyone's interested in an update.
It seems I've had a run of bad luck with my box...
I planted the lowryders and let the original ones keep veging. After 4 weeks the lowryders began to flower. I got exited

Unfonatunately of the 5 seeds, 1 died as a sprout and 3 were male.... Leaving 1 female.
I let the males and female pollinate and set seed. When the male flowers were all open, I dusted the female with the pollen and water-cured the males so I could cook with them. I could see the calyxs swell and periodically I would cut one off to see if the seeds were done. (I know I could have waited until they split open, but oh well.)
Suddenly, one morning I checked on my wonderfully aromatic female, and she looked a little dry so I gave her some water. The next morning, she was dead. Completely dry.
Seems like she got root rot. I got a ton of seeds, but none of them were that perfect shiny mottled brown color. Upon closer examination, most were either deformed or greenish-white. Only 25 seemed to be decent looking. I got around to trying to germinate some of the seeds... 10 on a wet paper towel. Keeping it moist in a dark place, and somewhat warm, in a bookshelf.
I went out of town for a couple days, and came back to notice my room was strangely silent- I couldn't hear any fans. I frantically opened the lid to my box and was hit in the face with hot humid air. The temperature said 108 and my plants that were growing since april and just beginning the flower were scorched. All the young flowers except one were burnt beyong recognition, and a bulb socket had melted the glue and fallen directly on one of my plants, burning it at ground level.
So now I'm resting on a badly scorched mystery strain with about 5 leaves, several chopped off-branches and one possible flowering tip, and two barely-sprouted "Super Skunk" seeds that a friend gave me... Even if they're male, I'll get three things out of them- Experience, Pollen to freeze for my future breeding endeavers, and some leaves to water-cure.
