This week I re-arranged my veg area to accommodate my clones that are vegging, and my mothers, which I have decided to flower next go round. I have also started some bonsai mums which are doing very well so far. See the mother thread for more info on this. I will post the link shortly. Okay, some shots of my veg area first. The first is a pic from before. My problem was that I had a cfl contraption I made and it blocked the heat in so the inside corner became intolerable for the plants. Now I have 3 bars of T-8 florescents in there for the clones. I have assorted colours, blue, red and a neutral one. All my clones do very well under them so I thought I would use it for my bonsai mums as it is cool and the plants will stay moist longer. The main area has my T-5 floro in it. I also have a bath bar of 4 cfl's in the back of where the t-5's are and they do well but they have been growing too big. I want to be able to do my clones, and veg in the same area to flower next
and use the space to the best addvantage. All the lights are hung on chain with s hooks so I can raise and lower them and the 4 fans I have there, at will. The space is 21 in. deep, 49.5 long, and 4 feet high. My fans are just cheapies from wallyworld, and I took the pedestals off them, attached a metal shower curtain ring to each and put chain on them with cup hooks at the top in each corner, I can turn them, raise or lower them in a minute. It is working well. I also have 2 other bars of cfl's I can add if I need more light when the plants get bigger. I also have a warm floro in the front of the t-5 veg area as well. It helps the side growth. I have screwed it to the bar there as I was always hitting it. Now it is safe and secure. I also have a seperate t-8 that I have clones under that are just rooting. I have them on a heating pad, and it works well.

Pretty much all of the boxes are out of the grow room now, thanks to my sweetie. This has given me so much room, I no longer need the big cupboard that was in there. Here are some more pics. This also shows my little bud drying area. I will rethink this when I have a larger amount of buds to dry. Because my shelves are wood I can put up hook eyes anywhere and they can stay for a multiple of purposes.

Also, without the big cupboard there I have room for another table. Now, it is narrow there so we might have to make it. Right now I have a small moble butcher block there. It works for now, and It is portable so I can more it around to use it where ever I need it. Now I have an outside plant I am trying to reveg on it with 2 spot cfl's lighting it.

Here are my clones, and what I feed them. I mix up some shultz hormone powder, some Superthrive and some SM90 and water all the clones with this solution. I also use small ketchup bottles so I do not flood them or over water them. The are resting on a heating pad under a t-8 florescent. So far, so good! This lot are for the bonsai mums and the plants I will flower after the ones veging now. Or sooner, not sure. Also a mum that I took some clones off, and my bud drying for small amounts. The flowering plant is the one I am trying to clone while still flowering as she just will not stop! This is my third attempt. I find they mold very very easily and you must get every speck of female pistols or calyxes off them. Last is a plant that was outside that I dug up and am trying to reveg. She looks pretty sad right now.

Here are the flowering girls this week. I go in there and just inhale....It smells like choclate liquour...quite mind boggling! I love it! Wish I could dab a bit behind my ears! Make a great perfume!

The next shots are all one girl. I finally got her out to take off dead leaves and check her, and try and lower the canopy on her. She is stunning. This is Kish aka Shiskaberry. This ones leaves are yellowing more than the others. I wonder if this is a paculiarity of this genus. Anyone know? It seems more sensitive than the others as well. LOTS of trichs, but still mostly clear.

First picture is the one on the left back I have been opening up to get the center buds to develope. It is working well. Then all of the girls together.

okay, here are some more pics of how it is all going. I have been taking buds off the girls in flower as the trichs turn and leaving the smaller buds to develope more. This is TC2, which is now dried and we have smoked some. Originally given to me by a friend so I have no idea what kind she is. Good smoke though! The last shot is after.

Looks like your harvest season is happening, I just love this time of year, almost as much as spring. Lots of extra work to do though. See ya around.

Next....These are all inside bud shots that have mostly been harvested and you can see them drying. We are smoking some now. These are from the first to the 14th of sept. Also a pic of my bonsai's veging and my one remaining flowering clone.
