Thanks Med. They are coming along. At least they are alive! LOL! I do need to pot up the ones in the white containers, but that will have to be next week as I have things that HAVE to be handled this week or else.
Love ya Med, and thanks for taking a look sweetie.
Hey girl. I finally made it to your journal Very cool that you kept mom's throughout the winter. i did the same with my girls Blueberry is always a nice one to have Did the AK 47 make it and if so how is she? I have had an interest in that one for a while now. Plus that regenerated one is totally cool. Good job. Thats quite impressive. I know that they will do this if you leave them around long enough but most people don't.
I used to use MG soil before but now I found that a neutral potting mixture like pro-mix works so much better. It is a perfect pH balance and you can either add nutes via feeding or go all out organic. Soma style growing ....or even subcool's organic mix. Its in high times magazine. Bat guano, worm castings, dolomite lime, coco fiber, etc
I HIGHLY suggest going all organic. This way you do not have to worry about feeding properly etc as they take whatever they need from the soil. Many people think 100% organic is too acidic for the plants but plants grown this way adapt to pH changes a LOT better than the ones that are being fed. The organic soil helps build up their immunity system BIGTIME so that your plants can handle just about anything.
The difference is very significant; especially in the final product. Your smoke will be soooooo smooth taking less to cure etc.
Its like kids. If you feed your children a healthy holistic diet right from the start, then you are building up a healthy immune system for their entire life. If you just give the minimal requirements when necessary, then the immune system is going to be stressed. Plants and animals are the same way. Feed your puppies healthy food from day one and they will thrive .......
Plants are the same... Anyway I am now rambling girl.
I'm now subscribed.

I have been organic all along, Lacy, but was trying something different this time to check it out. I can't help people with this if I don't know what it does so I tried it and this is what happened to me. I am going back to my organic soil mix that has worked for me in the past, for the future. I hated the results I got, and will only stick to my tried and true mix in the future.
This is what I usually use:
promix- a good quality one with only compost or manures added when bought. No chemical additives ~this is a soiless mix usuaully~ lots of them around.
Bonemeal -a handful per gallon (my hands are small, but it is like cooking, you know what you need once you do it a few times)
Dolimite Lime- buffers ph
American Pride by Fox Farm per their instructions I usually use half of the recommended dose.
bloodmeal for flowering plants only ~ and very very light on this. Only experiance can help you judge this....less that a tblsp per couple of gallons of soil.
total of 40% perlite- depends how much is already in the promix how much I add.
I use RO water for my plants so I regularly have to add cal/mag or right now I have cal/max which is the same thing.
That is it. it works for me and most of the time I do not feed them as the nutreints are in the soil, not needed to add them in the water as well.
Then I feed with fish emulsion during veg and part into flower, plus fox farm organic liquids for a boast. and I also use blackstrap molasses for micronutrients and sweetening the buds in flower.
The above is what my mums are planted in, I did not want to risk them.
I agree with the leggy statement for sure. Makes total since and worked for me. Just like tomato plants, bury them right up to the leaves.

Also, do not feed seedlings until those first round leaves dry up and fall off. Then you are good to go.

I just perused this thread and me thinks you've done a great job. There were a couple of bumps, but the Queen of Green flattened them in no time. I am glad to hear that you have some MTF going. I have three going in the bucket brigade but no more seeds. That smoke has made it around this town via clones I gave to a friend. It is very popular with the stoners and I know personally of the medical benefits this strain has.
Good job jangel0

Way past time for an update folks. so sorry, but life and the site keep me hopping! Here are some pics from the 1st of July, I am just going to post up pics and come back and explain things. So bare with me till I get organized...and medicated.
Here are my clones. I have potted them up and have placed them under my T-5 veg light. I had it pretty much near the top at first, and slowly lowered it down over a few days. They are doing okay...I have about 21 clones. and more yet to pot up which I finally got done yesterday. phew....
first pic is the ones I potted then, second is the ones I still had to do, third is some I did a while ago, now outside, but I will get to that. The last pic is of them with the light lowered right down. You can see they have grown quite a bit in just a few days. Now they are under my HID light, with MH bulb. Again, a good distance away, and I will raise them up then outside them go. In about 4 days they will be out. I fed them all a good dose of fish fert and some cal max, as I use RO water and am always short on it.
Here is my flower room. Now, I just have a 400 watt light, with flat white walls. And an Metal Halide bulb in it on 24 hour light and my plants are showing sex. some a lot. In there I have my 4 big mums, which once these are out will be put into flower and new mums started up under my t-5. and all my seedlings. So far I have had a total of 5 males. and all the same, either blueberry or my Ambrosia X blueberry seedlings from my revegged mum. I still have one blueberry male without nads, existing only with my clones. it looks like a stick, but I can get a few clones off it any time if I want to use him. I find watering the bare minium will keep it alive but no nads and nothing is really in full flower in here anyway so I am good. Most of the seeds I had thought male where female...no idea why. I would think due to the level of neglect my poor plants have recieved I would get more males or hermies but no, all is fine. Either showed male early or are girls. a couple I am not sure of, but they have the tear drop pre-flowers that are usully filled with pistols so it seems good. Okay, here are the shots of my flower room.
These next shots are from July 10th. The first shot is of my blueberry male. You can see he is just the top, good enough for clones, but otherwise not doing much. I have one red coloured t-8 flouro tube he has the benefit of. He is doing fine, not great, not producing nads, just living till I need him. And a shot of those clones I finally planted up yesterday. My flower room and my little MTF! isn't she doing well? I have several clones of her, so I am very pleased. From what I know this will make some great healing oil. Great for pain as well, and I will see how it works on depression. She is flowering beautifully under 24 hour light, MH. I will take her out as her sisters are already. I want to keep one in though, so not sure which to keep.
The next two shots are of one I am super cropping...I will follow this one along and see how she does. I am starting to train some tall spindly ones for LST'ing once they are planted outside.
Now here are some fun shots for you Ladies and Germs! We made bubble hash using our own Zigs method. Thread for Zigzagman's Bubble Hash. Good thing I had some strong help because I am NOT strong enough to hold the damn drill. My sweetie says it is like trying to hold a 5 hp strong engine...so the mess on the deck is when I tried to do it myself and what the outcome was....damn.
Well, it was fun, hard work but fun and I only used half my trim so far. I think I got about an ounce and a half out of just the half.....plus I have a couple bags of just sugar leaves to do yet...YUM YUM YUM!
You can see with the different colours of the hash the different grades you get. The darkest is the first pull. The mixed is the next two grades of bags. The light stuff is from the finest bag. i also found if I put the last bit together in a clear pail and let it settle then skim off the clear liquid, gradually reducing it, I got another 10 grams at least, dry. I found it dried better flattening it out. The first lot we played with too soon and it fell apart. The rest is pretty hard though, and has stuck together.
Here are some shots of my outdoor plants. Hopefully get them into the ground this week, if it holds off raining. they look awful now, but I am sure once they are planted they will be fine. Okay, everyone cry now.....booo hooo poor plants!!!!
The fifth one is the super cropped plant. See how they are already in flower? This is from under the Metal Halide light 24 hours light! It works for me anyway!
