started using a 10-15-10 blend of liquid nutes. the transplanted plant blew up over night. im waiting another week or so to start using it on the little ones. everything is looking good so far.

Go easy on the ferts for now. It is still just a baby. Maybe 1/4 strength no more. and not every watering. Maybe once a week. Good luck!

i set up 2 different sets of water for just that reason. i basically used it for the transplant so keep them from slowing growth and prolly wont use it again till next week. its kinda hard to tell when it needs more water but i'm just gonna wait till it feels lighter. also the pots i got have an area to water from the bottom. it says on the label water from top for 1 week till roots are established then fill the reservoir and it'll feed it for up to a week.

ok so i havent watered the plant since i transplanted it (i prolly will tomorrow) everything is looking good i got a few 5 digit leaves with decent sizes. ill take pics tomorrow for anyone who checks this out. i don't know what else to say cause im stoned like a mo'fo.

OHHHH!! i remembered i got some haze seeds from a friend. supposedly they are from a Hermy though, does that mean anything? if not ill probably start a few of these soon.

It means they are feminized. All girls but will have the chance of beng a hermie. You say you 2 different batches of water mixed up. If these are soil you should not premix your nutes. It can damage them. You should mix it every time you need it and discard the rest. Otherwise you could hurt your plant.

thanks jangel, i didnt know to not use the same nute water more than once. luckily i only used it when i transplanted and not since. i just watered it this morning and the big one is looking healthy other than a few of the tips are a tiny bit yellow. ill have some pics up later in the day.

what exactly makes the water bad for the plants if it sits in a closed container instead of being mixed right before?

when some ferts sit in water they undergo chemical reations over time and breakdown into other compounds....don't know how long that takes or why it's bad though...I have read it on fert directions though

hmmm thanks ill check that out. so if it doesn't say anything about that is it safe to use over the span of say a week or 2?

Just because it does not say that does not mean it is not so. No, be safe and only mix what you need every time. I know I use organic nutes (fish ferts,+ foxfarm big bloom) you leave that stuff in a warm place for a day and boy oh boy! It reeks! I do not think it is much difference with anything else. It is not hard to mix it each time if you do the math, and only use 1/4 strength to start. That could be part of the reason your leaf tips are yellow. It could be nute burn. Not sure without pics, but don't take a chance with it.
