Hey Sentra,

Here's a pic of a canister of Green Light Super Bloom.12-55-6 with 0.1% chelated iron. Good stuff, always had good results with it. I use at about 150% what the label instructions say to use, twice a week for 3-4 ft. (1-1.33 meter) plants.

I have a question for future reference. If you take a clone from your plant do you continue to give it the same nutrients you were giving the mother plant or do you start over like it's a new plant and wait till the root system develops?

Thanks in advance

good question cause ive been giving it straight water except for the rooting hormone so far. i have it on a 24 hour light schedule, no dome anymore, in dirt with little to no nutrient value, with 1 6500k cfl. it will be a week old thursday and its mother will be 3 weeks into flower. im planning on picking up some bloom fert at the store tomorrow providing i find something. nothing against MG bloom booster but i'd like to find something different however, considering the choice of stock in the stores around here its slim pickings.
4kaan4 - i havent seen the green light in any local stores. atleast not the super bloom.

When you said you put the clone in dirt do you mean the growing medium you're using for the other plants or just plain dirt from outside?

As for nutrients, they don't make the 10-52-10 mix of bloom booster anymore from what I hear and now there is only 10-30-10. If you do end up finding something "different" try to stray away from your original choice of the 0-10-10 mix or whatever you were looking at and make sure it's a good amount of phosphorus. Also from what I've seen in Lowes and Home depot there isn't anything better then bloom booster because I've seen all the liquid and powder plant foods and they're pretty much the same exact percentage as the Shultz liquid that you used during veg if not less.

Good luck and bloom booster works awesome...ill be updating pics soon

Lookin' good Sentra! Very nice!

As far as feeding clones, you have to let them get their "Feet" under them before you start feeding them. I would go with something like worm food, or something high in N for veg and good k as that helps roots. And you use veg nutes on clones, as you want them to veg and grow roots. Maybe 1/4 strength to start. I have some clones, must be a few weeks old, and i have not fed them yet. They do have some food in their soil and they are fine. They need to be actively growing before they can take any ferts.

Peace

Hey Sentra,

That should work fine. Just be sure to keep an eye on pH as the nutes might alter that. The proportions of nutrients are right, so go for it!

Later,

WOW! Good for you. I might get me some of that. Good advise about the orchid food as well. Orchids live in bark and like an acidic medium. Make sure you keep an eye on that ph or you might run into trouble.

Love the growth you are getting, babes. Good for you!
